Minutes from the July meeting were read, approved by Jeanine Asch, seconded by Judy Merians, passed and accepted by the members. The Treasurer's Report was approved. However, it was noted that several members still haven't paid their yearly dues. SPECIALTY UPDATE: Club directories will be distributed at the Specialty, any changes needed to be done should be submitted to Jeanine Asch, immediately. Gary Cooper reported there will be about 12 passes for parking available to be given to those people helping set up for the Specialty. Denise Miseris will pick up the judges from the airport, along with help from Cindy Skiba. There was some discussion as to whether or not the show chair or the person transporting the judges to dinner should be allowed to exhibit their own dogs at the Specialty. An agreement could not be reached and this was tabled for further discussion at a later date. 1

Patty Wayne and Pam Nichols are in charge of the gift baskets for the judges rooms, the price of the baskets are to be in the range of $25-$30, 6 baskets in all are needed. Cindy Skiba has volunteered to donate a bottle of wine for each basket. Jeanine will do bags for the judges gifts, Nancy will co-ordinate it. Cindy will check into dinners for the judges when they are picked up from the airport and bills for expenses occurred will be submitted. Mike Merians will send a list of decorations needed to Pam Nichols. Annie Cogo will do the Hospitality for the morning of the Specialty with Tim Horton's. Sheila Norgren has offered to have a club After-Specialty Party at her house on Sat. Sept. 30th. Members should submit $5.00 to Sheila or Cindy Skiba, if they are attending the get together, as well as a dish to pass. LIVINGSTON CONSERVATION AND SPORTS ASSOC. YOUTH DAY: The Youth Day was a success, with about 500 youth attending. Thank you to our members whom helped and made it a success. DKC SUPPORTED ENTRY: They very much want our club's supported entry and must know by Nov. 1st, if we are supporting the entry. The 2007 judges are Michael Dachel and Donald Sturtz. Because they have gotten such a good judging panel, a motion was made by Mike Merians and seconded by Jeanine Asch to support the entry for the 2007 DKC. The motion was voted on and passed. MARSHBANKS HUNT TEST: Kim Bryson reported that everything is set for the hunt test. Members are asked to be at the test site at 7:30 am and wear camo colored clothing. Gary and Mike will make sure that the trailer has plates and will be taken to the site. FUTURE MEETING PRESENTATIONS: Dr. Al Stinson will give a talk in Sept. Stacy Quake will give a talk on gaits in Nov. A seminar on Movement and Structure by Ed and Pat Gilbert, will be looked into for sometime next spring. OUR TREASURER"S BOOKS: Our Treasurer Books need to be audited and a panel of 3 people will be set up at a later 2

date to check in to this. It was suggested to have Jeff De Porta look into this. The 2007 SPECIALTY: Michelle VeuCasovic volunteered to be the Chair and Jeanine Asch will be the Co- Chair. Cindy Skiba will be the Obedience Chair. THE PET EXPO: Discussion about our club's participation at the Pet Expo in Nov. will be held at the Sept. Membership Meeting. CLUB LOGO AND SWEATSHIRTS: Several different new logos, as well as the old club logo, were exhibited for the members to vote on as they left the meeting. The winner will be announced at the Sept.
