LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB OF VICTORIA ANNUAL TROPHIES ROSEMOOR RAJAH TROPHY Donated by: Originally donated by Bill and Ivy Badham s in recognition of ROSEMOOR RAJAH, this trophy is now sponsored by the Labrador Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. This trophy is to recognise the best young working dog of the year, which must be a Labrador Retriever owned by a financial member of the Labrador Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. and not be more than two (2) years of age on the day the event started to be eligible. There is no necessity for dogs to gain points in both Field and Retrieving Trials, but if two dogs finish the year with an equal number of points, then the one with the most evenly divided points wins the trophy. If they are still even, then the one with the most points gained in Open, All Age and Championship stakes is the winner. The basis of point allocations which runs from 1 January - 31 December of each year would be as listed below. Eligible Shows/Trials: Field and Retrieving Trials in Victoria under the auspices of the VCA. Only Novice, Restricted, All Age, Open and Championship competitions are included. Water Tests, Puppy, Handlers classes and other similar events are not applicable. Field and Retrieving Trials (All Age, Open and Championship): 1st - 5 points 2nd - 3 points 3rd - 2 points Field and Retrieving Trials (Novice and Restricted): 1st - 3 points 2nd - 2 points 3rd - 1 point ROBERTSHORE PANTHER TROPHY Donated by: Originally donated by Mr George Daniel (Pantherdell Kennels) in recognition of ROBERTSHORE PANTHER, this trophy is now sponsored by the Labrador Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. It is open to any Labrador Retriever in Australia whose owner is a financial member of the Labrador Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. To be able to receive the trophy, the recipient must have Qualifying Certificates in both Field and Retrieving Trials and have completed in both types of stake during the year. Although it is desirable for the highest scoring dog to have gained points in both Field
and Retrieving Trial events it is not compulsory and it will be recognised as winner if it has actually competed in both types of trial during the year. In an instance where a tie occurs, the winner would be the dog who has gained the most First, Second and Third placings overall in the said Retrieving Trials, Water Test and semi-finals, and finals of Field Trials on a count back.
