It is incumbent upon a member participating in a livestock project to provide primary care and grooming of their animals throughout the project s entirety. It is recognized a member will need assistance on occasion by livestock superintendents, adult leaders, other members, family members and adults. It is the expectation of the Clay County 4-H Council Board of Directors that any assistance provided be for the purpose of teaching a member correct care and grooming and not be an action undertaken by an individual solely in an effort to help place the animal higher by improving showing characteristics. It is the policy of the Clay County 4-H Council Board of Directors that no professional grooming is allowed during fair week. For the purpose of this section, professional grooming is defined as a person who accepts of benefits monetarily for the service rendered. Enrollment: 1.
