ATTENTION FOREIGN EXHIBITORS Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian funds. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. No entry will be accepted unless all particulars called for on the entry form are completed in full. 2. Incomplete entries will be returned. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entries were made. 5. Alterations, substitution, or cancellation of any entry after the closing date is prohibited. 6. Only dogs which are already registered in the Canadian Kennel Club Stud Book, or are eligible for registration can be entered. 7. The Show Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC Rules. 8. ENTRIES POSITIVELY CLOSE WEDNESDAY JULY 25, 2018, AT 8:00 PM. 9. IDENTIFICATION CARDS AND JUDGING SCHEDULES WILL BE SENT BY EMAIL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE ENTRIES CLOSE. Identification cards must be presented to the Show Secretary upon arrival at the show. 10.Tendering of an NSF cheque in payment of fees shall be considered non-payment of fees and is punishable by disciplinary action. Any NSF cheque will be subject to a $35.00 service charge. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. The Show Superintendent will be in full charge of the show, which will be governed by CKC rules. 2. The Ontario Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume liability, in the event of accident, or other misfortunes, to either dogs, exhibitors, or patrons. 3. If, because of riot, civil disturbance, or other acts beyond the control of management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of Entry Fees will be made. 4. The show precincts shall be the ring and 10 feet in all directions from the outer edge of the ring. It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer, or competitor at a Show held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. STATEMENT OF PRIVACY Personal information which is provided to Danuta Booth, Show Secretary, will only be used for the purposes required by the Canadian Kennel Club and voluntarily submitted to us upon completion of an entry form. No personal information will be disclosed for purposes other than intended without consent or required by law.

One Award of Merit for every 10 dogs in Best of Breed judging Small prizes will be offered for Reserve Winners Dog, Reserve Winners Bitch, and 1 st in each Regular Class and each baby Puppy Class.. A Rosette will be offered for 1 st to 4 th in each Regular and Non-Regular Class, and for Select Dog and Select Bitch. HANDY TOLLER AWARD The purpose of this award is to demonstrate the working ability of Tollers and to reward those giving an outstanding performance in a variety of official events on the weekend of the Ontario NSDTR Club s Specialty. To qualify for this award, a Toller must be entered in a minimum of 3 Events. Events are to include Field, Agility, and either Obedience or Rally obedience. The Award will be presented upon completion of Sunday s program to the Toller with the most points. SPECIALTY CLASSES Baby Puppy Class Dogs 3 months of age and under 6 months on the day of the show. Both male and female Baby Puppies will be judged prior to the judging of other official classes. Puppies in this category may not compete in any official, unofficial or non-regular classes. OFFICIAL CLASSES Junior Puppy Senior Puppy 12-18 months Canadian Bred Bred-By-Exhibitor Open Veterans (split by age: 7-10 yrs & 10+ yrs) Field Class Specials Only Altered Exhibition Only NON-REGULAR CLASSES Brace Two dogs of the same breed (not necessarily of the same sex). Must be handled by one person on one lead. Dogs must be entered in an Official Class or Exhibition Only. If spayed or neutered, dog must be entered in an Altered Class or Exhibition Only. Stud Dog & Get Entry comprises the Stud Dog and two only of his Get. Stud Dog must be entered in a Regular Class or Exhibition Only. Get must be entered in a Regular Class. Stud Dog may be neutered. Ownership in this class need not be identical. Brood Bitch & Progeny Entry comprises the Brood Bitch and two only of her Progeny. Brood Bitch must be entered in a Regular Class or Exhibition Only. Progeny must be entered in a Regular Class. Brood Bitch may be neutered. Ownership in this class need not be identical.

SWEEPSTAKES JUDGE: EWA BOLDOK JUVENILE SWEEPSTAKES The following classes, divided by sex, will be offered at this sweepstakes: Junior Puppy 6 months & under 9 months Senior Puppy 9 months and under 12 months 12-15 Month 12 months and under 15 months 15-18 months 15 months and under 18 months First Place winners will compete for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes. A Rosette will be offered for 1 st to 4 th in each Sweepstakes Class and for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes. Money received in entry fees shall be divided as follows: First in Each Class 50% of entry money for that class Best in Sweepstakes 15% of total sweepstakes entry money Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes 10% of total sweepstakes entry money 25% will be held for administration costs. Dogs entered in Juvenile Sweepstakes must be entered in a Regular Class at this show. VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES The following classes, divided by sex, will be offered at this sweepstakes: 7-10 years 7 years and under 10 years 10+ years 10 years and over First Place Winners will compete for Best Veteran in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes. A Rosette will be offered for 1 st to 4 th in each Veteran Sweepstakes Class and for Best Veteran in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex Veteran in Sweepstakes Money received in entry fees shall be divided as follows: First in Each Class 50% of entry money for that class Best in Veteran Sweepstakes 15% of total sweepstakes entry money Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes 10% of total sweepstakes entry money 25% will be held for administration costs. Dogs entered in Veteran Sweepstakes must be entered in a Regular Class or Exhibition Only at this show. Spayed and neutered dogs may compete in Veteran Sweepstakes.

JUNIOR HANDLING JUDGE: ELISSA STEINBOCK Held under CKC Rules. Classes Offered: Pee Wee: 4-6 yrs (Non-Competitive) Junior: 7-10 yrs (Novice & Open) Intermediate: 11-14 yrs (Novice & Open) Senior: 15-up to but not incl. 18 yrs (Novice & Open) Best Overall (Excluding Pee Wee) All Dogs must be entered in one of the Official Classes or Exhibition Only at this show. Entry to be made at the show, at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled judging time. Ages for all classes are as of December 31 st of the preceding year. A Rosette and prize will be offered for 1 st to 4 th in each class, and for Best Junior Handler. EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBER Effective Jan. 1/92, all dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events will no longer require a CKC registration number but will require an Event Registration Number (ERN). The ERN MUST be applied for within 30 days of the first day of entering a CKC event. Fee is $58.50 per dog after January 1, 2012, plus applicable taxes. A dog awarded Winners at a conformation show shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the number of points credited to a dog awarded Winners shall be as provided hereunder. Section 15.1.2. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: Dogs competing * 1 2 3 to 5 6 to 9 10 to 12 13 or more Points Allocated 0 1 2 3 4 5 * Includes the dog awarded Winners. In counting the number of eligible dogs in competition, a dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused, or ordered from the ring by the judge SHALL NOT be included in the calculation for championship points. New CKC Non Member Participation Fee a) A non member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of CKC. The fee for 2012 is $58.50 plus applicable taxes. b) The non member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by that individual. c) In order for the title to be awarded, the non member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the non member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. d) All Premium List will carry a note stating that these fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non member residents of Canada and are not applicable to CKC members.

HOSPITALITY Parking and grounds are under the supervision of Red Barn Event Centre and Show Committee. Stoop & scoop. Dogs must be on leash. Snack Bar will be open for Lunch during the show. RAFFLES There will be raffles each day throughout the weekend. Un-serviced sites are $20 + HST per day. RV s or motorhomes may be bought in Thusday or Friday and can leave either Sunday evening once it is safe to do so, or Monday morning. Move in/out arrangements MUST be made ahead of time. Overnight tenting must also be arranged and pre- paid ($25 + HST for the weekend). The washroom trailer, portable toilets and onsite shower will be open for campers all weekend. There will also be a fenced in off leash area. Anyone using this area must be respectful of other users an ensure that they pick up after their dogs and do NOT leave them unsupervised. We request that NO dogs be exercised off leash anywhere on the property except in this off leash area.
