PUPPY/JUNIOR & VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES Thursday AM & Friday Concurrent Entry Fee is $15.00. The Puppy Sweepstakes is open to Irish Setters 6 months and under 18 months of age on the day of the show. The Veteran Sweepstakes is open to all Irish Setters (7) seven years of age and older on the day of the show. The winners of all classes in each Sweepstakes will compete for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes. All entries MUST be entered in one of the Regular Classes at this show. Indicate Sweepstakes and age division on the regular Entry Form under Additional Classes. Puppy/Junior Classes Same classes for dogs and bitches Puppy 6 9 mos. Puppy 9 12 mos. 12 18 mos. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Mail all entries and make checks payable to: Cheryl Cazier, Show Secretary, 2926 N 34 Pl, Phoenix AZ 85018 Entries close: WEDNESDAY October 31, 2018 12 Noon MST after which time no entries may be accepted, canceled, changed, substituted, corrected, or signed and no entry fees refunded. All changes and cancellations must be received in writing prior to closing, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the AKC Dog Show Rules. The Irish Setter Club of Greater Tucson, Inc., The Irish Setter Club of Arizona, Inc., Tucson Kennel Club, and their Show Secretary assume no responsibility for a wrong entry. Entries will not be accepted without proper fees and signatures. Entries must be submitted on approved entry forms with the agreement printed on the reverse side. Photocopies of front & back will be accepted if legible. Exhibitors are advised to print all unusual words when filling in entry forms. THIS SHOW is governed by the American Kennel Club. Exhibitors should read the AKC agreement on the backside of the entry form in this Premium List. No entry fee will be refunded for Bitches who come in season after the close of entries for this show, or for a dog that is absent, sick, lame, disqualified or excused by Veterinarian, Judge or Bench Show Committee. No entry fees will be returned if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, strikes or any other causes beyond the control of the management. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Note: Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. RETURNED CHECKS will be charged a $25.00 collection fee. The returned check must be paid with Cash at the Show Secretary s desk or office BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring. Dogs need not be at the show until the scheduled time of judging. Dogs no longer needed for further judging will be excused. This show is unbenched. All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. The Clubs, Show Secretary, their Agents, employees, etc. assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. THIS IS A SELF-CLEANING SHOW. A Bench Show Committee will be called on anyone not cleaning up after their dog or their grooming space and a minimum of $250.00 fine will be assessed. Class cash prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging is over, and the Show Secretary s office advised at once. The Show Secretary and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging is over. RECORDING & EVENT FEES include the 50 AKC Recording Fee and the $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes. There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions. (AKC Rule, Ch 11, Sec 2). TRANSFERS TO BEST OF BREED must be made at the Show Secretary s desk at least one-half hour prior to the start of the earliest conformation judging at the Show. 11
