AKC All Breed Agility Trial Judging Schedule Jan 18-20, 2019 Woodley Ave Park (Section 2), 6350 Woodley Ave. Van Nuys, CA 91406 Welcome to the Simi Valley Kennel Club AKC Agility Trial. TRIAL SITE INFO: Directions to Woodley Ave Park and the Emergency Veterinarian are enclosed. The park has quite a few trees, but it s a good idea to bring your own shade. Friday set up is no earlier than 10 am unless you are helping set up the rings and equipment. No spaces can be marked off and held for another exhibitor until after 10:00 a.m. even if you are helping with set up. This excludes spaces marked off and held by Jump City for judges and/or Jump City employees. There is security on Friday and Saturday nights, however this is an open park and things should be left at your own risk. There is NO street parking on Woodley Avenue and no parking in anything but marked parking spaces in the parking lot. In the event the parking lot is full there is additional parking across Woodley in the dirt area. RV Overnight Parking: There is NO RV overnight parking at Woodley Park. Food: Breakfast items will be provided for exhibitors. Lunches are provided for the workers. Lunches are not provided for half day trials on Friday. There are some fast food restaurants close to the park. VMO: Kenneth Boyd is a VMO. Volunteers: Thank you so much to all of you who volunteered. If you have not volunteered to work and would like to, please email Kathy Kogen at kathyko@socal.rr.com or contact Kathy the day of the trial. If you work you ll get lunch and have a chance to earn Jump Bucks that may be used at future Jump City trials or at Jump City Agility classes. Move-ups: All pre-show move ups must be received by 6 pm (PST), Monday before the trial. AKC requires move-ups to be in writing. You may send an email for a move-up to lribbeck91@gmail.com with your name, your dog s call name, the name & date of the trial and what class you want the dog to be moved to. If you miss the deadline, you will need to follow the day-day move-up regulations. Day-to-Day Move-Ups: The request for moving up must be made in writing at the trial site to the Trial Secretary not later than the day preceding the event provided the Trial Secretary receives them by the end of the trial day. Day-to-day move-ups may not be requested via the phone or by email. It is permissible for an exhibitor to request a day-to-day move-up in person for the following day on a trial day of which he/she did not show their dog. The exhibitor may have someone else on-site fill out/sign the form as their representative. No dogs allowed in the restrooms. Please remember to clean up after your dog. kept on leash unless in the ring or at the warm-up jump. Dogs may be run in a different height or dog order from that which was drawn when, in the opinion of the judge(s) and/or the Event Committee, such a change will result in a desirable and reasonable time savings. Turn left (under the 101 fwy), turn right on Burbank Blvd (the first traffic light). Continue past the Encino Golf Course then turn left on Woodley Avenue. Go North on Woodley Avenue 1 mile to the park (on the right). Ventura (101) Freeway west bound: Transition to the San Diego (405) Freeway north bound and follow the instructions below. San Diego (405) Freeway north bound: Use the Burbank Blvd. exit (first exit after the Ventura Fwy interchange). Turn left (over the San Diego Fwy).
