Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practical after the close of entries. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time for judging. After being judged, dogs not required for further judging may be excused. Neither the Club Secretary nor the Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying the exhibitors or their agents of the class being judged. All dogs present must be held on a leash or confined to their crates. JUDGES need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. ENTRY FEE shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from the competition by the Show Committee. The club accepts no responsibility for duplicate, wrong, or incomplete entries. No refund of entry fee will be made if, because of riots, civil disturbances, extreme weather conditions, or other acts beyond the control of the Show Committee, it is impossible to open or to complete the show. There is ample room for private exercise pens alongside the parking lot. Please be considerate and police your own areas. INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. Routes to the Show: Going south on I-75: In Knoxville, continue on I-275 South to I-40 West. Take exit #386B (Rt. 129 Alcoa, Airport, Smoky Mountains). NOTE: exit is less than one mile from the on ramp, so watch closely. Follow Rt 129 towards Alcoa and the airport. Take Hunt Road exit (~0.5 miles past airport), and turn right, over the overpass. Drive approximately 0.4 miles to Springbrook Road, and turn right. Turn left onto Alcoa Road, and then right onto Dalton Street. Show site is on the right. Going west on I-40: NOTE: I-40 through downtown Knoxville is closed for construction. If you try to go straight through, you will get diverted onto local roads in a very confusing area. Please don t do that! Take exit #393 (the I-40 West detour) to merge onto I-640 West. Drive approximately 6.9 miles, and exit onto I-275 South toward Knoxville. From here, the directions are the same as above. Going east on I-40/North on I-75: Take Exit #376 in Knoxville, and go towards Maryville/Alcoa on I-140.
