A $3.00 Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog are required in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.) A Recording fee of $0.50 is also required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. These fees are to be collected by the show-giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only (Dog Show Rules, Chapter 11, and Section 2). Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and entry forms without the agreement on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are not acceptable. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by the Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. The Show Secretary will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. No refund for processed duplicate entries; we will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. Any class changes or cancellations must be received in writing (including e-mail) by the Show Secretary prior to closing. Refunds will be made after the show. Errors on entry forms: Owners are responsible for errors on completed forms regardless of whoever fills out the form. No entry will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. For agent to be notified, please include the agent s email address or stamped #10 envelope addressed to the agent. Otherwise, acknowledgement will only be sent to address on the entry form. Dogs may arrive any time prior to judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. PLEASE KEEP THE GROUNDS CLEAN. You are responsible for picking up after your own dogs. All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. Owners and handlers will be liable for any damage done by dogs to hotel and show site grounds. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
