SHOW REGULATIONS 1. The Show will be held under the Licence and Rules of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd., as in force on the day of the publication of this schedule. All Dogs must be registered with the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. Entry to the show assumes compliance with the IKC Code of Ethics and with the IKC Code of Sportsmanship. 2. VENUE: The Show will be held at Manor St. John, Waterford, between the hours of 10.00am and 6.00pm on Sunday 6th JANUARY 2019. 3. ENTRY FEES: 8.00 for first dog 5.00 for subsequent entries (entered in breed class). 3.00 for Baby Puppy Junior Handling - free if entered in breed class otherwise 3.00 per dog. All Stakes classes - 4.00. 4. ENTRIES: Enter online at www.dogshowentry.ie. On-line entries close at midnight on 28 th December 2018. 4. The Show Committee will not accept any responsibility for mistakes in the Catalogue which may bring exhibitors within the purview of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd 6. The Entry Fees of exhibits failing to arrive or those rejected by the Veterinary Surgeon will be forfeited. 7. JUDGES: In the event of any appointed Judge failing to keep his/her appointment the committee reserves the right to appoint another Judge or Judges 8. Judging in all rings will commence at 12:00pm sharp 9. No claim will be considered in the event of an exhibit being late. 10. No persons will be allowed in the Judging Ring except the Judge, Show Officials, or an exhibitor taking in a dog for adjudication, 11. The exhibition number of each dog must be clearly displayed by the handler who shall not wear any other badge or other decoration in the judging ring. 12. Under no circumstances may the order of judging as provided for in the Catalogue be departed from. 13. CATALOGUES: The Promoting Body shall not be responsible for any loss, direct or indirect, occasioned by any mistake or omission in the Catalogue. In any such case the exhibitor should immediately inform the ring steward, if the judging is in progress, otherwise the exhibitor should immediately report the Catalogue inaccuracy to the Show Secretary.
14. ACCIDENT & DAMAGE: The Promoting Club will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained by exhibits, exhibitors or other persons attending the Show through accident or otherwise. 15. Exhibitors are deemed to be fully acquainted with and are subject to the rules and regulations of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. 16. All dogs must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times. 17. Please keep in mind I.K.C. Rule 139 - if your dog fouls the venue indoor or outdoor and you do not clean it up you will be fined 25. This year s committee will strictly enforce this rule. Save yourself money and clean up after your dog, and at the same time you will be assured of a comfortable venue to show your dog next year. Baby Puppies are confined to this class and may not compete for any other award other than Best Baby Puppy in Breed/Show Puppy Class is confined to dogs over six and under twelve months of age on the day of the Show. Junior Class is for dogs between nine and eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth. Intermediate Class is for dogs between 15 and 24 calendar months of age on the day of the Show. Open Class is for dogs over 15 months of age on the day of the Show.
