Arden Grange - nutrition without compromise Arden Grange is a British owned, independent, family run business based just outside Brighton which has been producing super premium pet foods since 1996. The owners are renowned for their experience and expertise in the dog world, and have been breeding and showing their highly acclaimed Ardenburg German Shepherds for over 30 years. How our sensitive dog food could help At Arden Grange we hear so many great stories about how our food is helping pets become happier and healthier. We have a range of sensitive products which are often credited by owners as helping their unwell pets return to good health. Dram and Buddie Dram and Buddie are two Golden Retrievers who suffer from IBS and epilepsy respectively. Their owner got in touch with Arden Grange after they were both suffering from loose stools and a deterioration of coat condition on their previous diets. When their vet suggested all of these issues may be related to a food allergy, Arden Grange was able to help. Both started eating half a tin of Partners Sensitive wet dog food and 160g of Sensitive ocean white fish and potato for each meal, and in less than a month the improvement in both dogs was remarkable. The really amazing thing is that since starting on the Arden Grange, Buddie has not had a single seizure. He seems so calm and relaxed. As well as being beneficial for their health, Arden Grange Sensitive food is highly palatable. Both Buddie and Dram have to have their bowls removed after a meal as they don t want to risk losing even a single lick! Sometime later, Buddie and Dram s owner got back in touch with us to let us know that Dram hadn t had a single episode of IBS since starting on Arden Grange Sensitive. Even more amazingly, Buddie has had only two very minor seizures since being on his new diet. Although he will always be epileptic, said their owner, his quality of life has improved enormously. There may have been ingredients in the previous diet which perhaps were exacerbating the condition. If things continue to go so well, we may even be able to reduce his medication. Both Dram and Buddie now have beautifully shiny coats, and are full of life and energy. Another unexpected bonus has been the reduction in flatulence which they both suffered from quite considerably before. Rocky Rocky Another wonderful success story comes from Rocky, who suffered from fur loss and bright red skin. Light - with fresh chicken & rice, a lower calorie diet We hear a lot of success stories at Arden Grange, many of them bring our attention to great alternative uses for our food. Bella Our dry light dog food is of course great for those that need to lose some weight, but dog owners are also often getting in touch to tell us how great it is as a maintenance diet. One such story came from the owners of Bella, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has always enjoyed the Arden Grange products. Bella s owner said she has always enjoyed the Arden Grange brand, which came highly recommended by her breeder when we got her. She really enjoys the Light chicken & rice variety it maintains her body weight so well. Since being on Arden Grange, Bella has found a lot of success in canine shows in the UK, gaining several wins and second places. Candy-Sue Candy-Sue, a Bernese Collie cross, has also been thriving on Arden Grange Light with chicken & rice. Our versatile liquid diet Partners Appetite Plus - rich in chicken Partners Appetite Plus is probably the most versatile product Arden Grange produces. It is of course ideal for puppies that are transitioning from their mother s milk to solid food as it is a concentrated liquid diet, but older and convalescing dogs can also benefit from this product. Patch Patch, a 17-year-old Jack Russell cross was only given hours to live by the vet. Having had seven days on fluids only, with no appetite, and given hours to live, she suddenly turned a corner. Appetite Plus is the only thing I can put it down to said Patch s owner. Tasty Liver Treat, an easy way to give medication Arden Grange s Tasty Liver Treat is a great way of encouraging cats and dogs to take medication. Just a small amount on to a tablet or mixing with crushed or liquid medications on a dish can help ease pets into taking it. The high percentage of pork and pork liver makes it so palatable, both dogs and cats can t resist it. IDEAL FOR GIVING MEDICATION Some owners have found other ways to utilise the tasty treat. Highly digestible - Sensitive cat food For cats with particularly sensitive skin and stomachs, the gentle Sensitive diet from Arden Grange is ideal as it has a very high digestibility and a very low allergenicity. These benefits come from the ocean white fish, which is also naturally higher in essential fatty acids than standard diets, promoting healthy skin and a good coat. As with all Arden Grange cat foods, it is free from grains and cereals to more closely reflect a cat s natural diet. The Cats Whiskers Rescue The good people at The Cats Whiskers Rescue got in touch to say the palatability of the grain free range is very good, and our cats also find the food very digestible. We start our rescues on Arden Grange Sensitive for a short period as this gentle food is easy on their tummies when they arrive with high stress levels. We then gradually introduce the other flavours into their diet. In general, the range is a complete success. Fresh ocean white fish accounts for 26% of this recipe, with white fish meal accounting for 24%, which makes it highly palatable and provides a balanced diet for cats with dietary intolerances or sensitivities. Light - a lower calorie diet for cats living life at a slower pace Arden Grange Light is an ideal food for adult cats that are less active, those that are overweight, or those prone to weight gain, such as neutered or indoor cats.
