Hmodi Coll. of Agriculture / Univ. of Bghdd Astrct Erly feed restriction ws pplied for 6 dys into two tretment groups of Fwro Broiler chicks during - dys (T)or-dys (T) of ge,however the third group ws treted s control. Results reveled significnt increse in percentge weights of rest nd drumstick in T nd T groups, nd significnt increse of thigh in T compring with control group. On the other hnd significnt decrese in percentge weights of neck, wings, nd ck ws oserved in T nd T groups. Significnt increse in percentge weight of len of rest, thigh nd drumstick in T group s compred with other tretment groups. No significnt difference were shown in percentges of moisture nd protein content of rest, Ft percentge of mjor prt s well s sh percentge of thigh prt showed lso no significnt differences in this comprison. Also no significnt differences in dry mtter content of rest nd thigh prts were noticed. It ws concluded from the current work the importnce of pplying feed restriction in erly stges of ge in roiler to reduce feed consumption nd gve positive result for roiler t mrket ge.
