The ERN number MUST be applied for within 30 days of the first day of entering a CKC event. TRACKING FEE Non CKC Member Canadian Resident Effective January 1, 2011 the CKC will be instituting a tracking fee for all Canadian residents who participate in a CKC event but are not CKC members. In order to protect any points and awards earned at any CKC event, a resident non-member can choose to become a CKC member or pay the tracking fee of $55 for each dog. Failure to comply with 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. This applies to dogs wholly owned by non-members resident in Canada and does not apply to U.S. exhibitors nor to CKC members or dogs coowned with a CKC member. INDIGNITIES 20.7 It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer, or competitor at an Obedience Trial held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The obedience Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indication that this has occurred. A copy of this regulation shall be prominently placed in every premium list and catalogue.
SHOW RULES AND GENERAL INFORMATION No entry will be accepted unless all particulars called for on the entry form are completed in full. Handlers or agents please not the full name and address of all owners must be filled in. Incomplete entries will be returned. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by entry fees. Telephone and fax entries cannot be accepted. The club reserves the right to remove any person from the Show. The Show Superintendent shall have full control of the shows & trials, which will be governed by CKC RULES. The show committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident, or other misfortune to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the conduct or actions of their animals while they are on the Show grounds. The Precincts of these trials will be the entire Training Hall building and grounds on which the Hall is located, including parking lots and front yard. The owner of dogs entered in these shows is entirely responsible for any error in entering dogs, regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. For the benefit of the health of animals and the pleasure of exhibitors and spectators we insist upon keeping the grounds as clean as possible. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please exercise your dog BEFORE taking it to the ring. Dogs must be exercised in DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY, not in the ring areas. If because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond control of the Club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund entry will be made. IT WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EXHIBITORS TO HAVE THEIR DOGS AT RINGSIDE when necessary. There will be no paging of individual dogs. Dogs must be on leashes at all times on the show grounds or in the show building with the exception of the Obedience rings. Exhibitors are responsible for their children while at the show and will be held accountable for any damages caused by children playing unattended The entire show site is designated as NO SMOKING. Bitches in season are not permitted to compete. If bitches come into season after the closing date, a veterinarian s certificate, stating that the bitch was in season within the ten-day period before the trial must be in the Trial Secretary s hands before the start of that day s trial, in order to obtain a refund of entry fees. Limited Entry Entries are limited to 7 hours of judging, based on 8 Novice entries per hour, 7 Open entries per hour and 6 Utility entries per hour. When the advertised limit has been reached, all remaining entries may be assigned a position (by class) on the reserve list. The person making the entry shall be notified of their position on the list. In the event that the entry of a bitch in season is pulled after the closing date, it may be substituted with one from the reserve list up to and including the day of the trial. Entry fees will be refunded within 10 days following the trial for those on the reserve list who did not participate in the trial. Moving up: As per 6.9.1, a dog may be moved to the next level of competition providing the transfer is submitted to the Trial Secretary on the appropriate form at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class, schedule permitting. Please note, that in order to be eligible to move up, the dog must be individually registered with the CKC, have a PEN, an ERN, or a Miscellaneous Class Certification. All entries must be typed or distinctly printed. Owners are responsible for errors on the entry forms. The OVGRC does not assume any responsibility for incorrect information or for errors due to illegibility of information on an entry submitted by the owner or agent, or for entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to enter or compete. Entries must be signed by the owner or agent or the entry will be rejected.

OVGRC will offer one limited entry Rally trial on Friday evening, two limited entry Obedience trials on Saturday and two limited entry obedience trials on Sunday. Our trials will be held back-to-back in one ring. There will be a dedicated warm-up area. The OVGRC hosts Obedience trials in October/November and February every year.
