The President s Corner President s Gavel As we come to the close of another year, it is a time to remember the many accomplishments of this club. Several policies were changed giving members the ability to train their dogs at our training building. New trainers and assistants stepped up to work with the many students who contacted our Training Director for classes. We have a new Website which is awesome thanks to some hard work. Our Face Book page is continually being updated with pictures and information for our members and students. We have voted on several new members who have become involved in many ways. There have been a few new four paws to our club puppy school abounds! There have also been difficult times, loss of loved ones, loss of our little companions. During this busy time, take some time to remember the good times, the fun times and the laughs both human and companion brought to your life. Just a reminder, we have trials coming up in January and June. Please step up and volunteer. Again I say, this club cannot exist without volunteers. If there are no volunteers, we cannot have trials. Finally as we approach a new year 2019, we have no idea what experiences we will have. I know many of you have and will qualify for Nationals good luck. Make that wish list. Mine is that Titus will finally conquer the teeter!!! Hope to see you all at the January banquet. BJ BIRTHDAYS THIS MONTH B. J. Arnold, Randy Slawski, Loretta Krisher, Scot Yates.
November Meeting Isla Markl and Penny - received Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog titles. Diana Schmerber and ZuZu - received their Novice Trick Dog title. Hycinth Vincent and Sassy - received Intermediate Trick Dog title Dianne Fields and Hannah - received their Intermediate Trick Dog title and their first Double Q in agiliy. A NOTE FROM KATHY SCHRECK Years ago, I started volunteering at the NCOTC June shows before becoming a member. Over-seeing both parent s health and needs, I knew some day when both parents would be in Heaven my friends at NCOTC would help me get through the difficult time. That time came fast with the death of my father recently. Many, many of you reached out to me, which was amazing. You made a very sad and difficult time much easier than it would have been. To each of you who sent cards, donations to the USO, calls, etc. I want you to know it was very much appreciated. Thank you so much!
