Page 1 WELCOME Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Koi Club Annual Koi Show. The Annual Koi Show will be presented August 15th and 16th, 2015 at Country Fair Gardens in Arvada Colorado. The show will be in the English Style for judging and for hobbyists only, vendor koi are not allowed. You can register online at www.rmkc.net & make your payment thru PayPal Inside this packet you will find all the necessary information required to participate in our show. All applications for show entry and banquet reservations are also included. All rules and regulations regarding the koi show are inside. Hotel information is provided. You need to contact the hotel to make your own reservations. The koi show rates are only good thru July 15th, so reserve early. Our show features a state-of-the-art flow through water exchange system to ensure that your koi are maintained in the best of water conditions. Larry Lunsford, well known throughout the hobby is our water quality expert. This is the sixth year for this system and water quality has always been excellent. The show will have the services of two judges. The Head Judge will be Andrew Moo, assisted by Gary Elmore. We are honored to have them judge our show. As with all koi shows tank space, banquet and hotel rooms at the Koi Show rates are limited. Please reserve soon. PLEASE NOTE: Previous RMKC Grand Champions may NOT be entered for 2 years! Page 6 CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE THE FINE PRINT The following conditions and requirements must be met to participate in this Koi Show: By signing and submitting the REGISTRATION FORM (Page 8) you declare that you are the owner of all koi entered by you. You agree to accept the decisions of the Benching Team regarding koi size and variety. You further declare that all koi entered in the Koi Show are free from and have not been in contact with KHV. All koi are declared to be free from all other parasites and diseases. Fish indicating any of these conditions will be disqualified. You further declare that you are a hobbyist, not involved in the purchase and sale of Koi for business or profit. If you are an Owner s Representative the owner must declare this by signing the statement at the bottom of the Registration Form (Page 8). You also agree that you (or your representative) will be present during benching. At the completion of benching and photographing of your koi an Official Benching Form will be presented for your approval and signature. Your Representative can sign for you. Any disagreements will be settled at that time. You do expressly release the Rocky Mountain Koi Club and it s members and Country Fair Garden Center and all of it s agents from any and all liabilities for damage, injury or loss which may arise from participation in this event. Just a reminder If you are entering the Koi Show you are required to furnish your own fish net and bowl so you and the fish handlers can manage your koi during judging. Do NOT feed your koi for 5 days prior to the Koi Show. This will help us keep the water quality at it s best.
