Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program The programme is divided into two steps, i.e., undergraduate programme (8 semesters to get Sarjana/BVSc) and veterinary profession education programme (12-18 months, to get DVM) BVSc: Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Level 6 IQF) DVM: Doctor Veterinary Medicine (Level 7 IQF) Number of credits may vary among veterinary schools
Legal Aspect Law of Republik Indonesia no. 18/2009 (Animal Husbandry and Animal Health) Veterinarian is a person in veterinary medicine profession, posses Certificate of Competency and has right to conduct veterinary medical practice to support the animal health Law of Republik Indonesia no 20/2003 (National Education System). Article 61 Graduate of profession education program posses specific competencies, should have certificate of competency Law of Republik Indonesia no 12/2012 (National Higher Education) Article 17 Profession program is held by university and supervised by professional association
History of the National Exam Started June 7, 2010 Conducted by a committee under the supervision of Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI) and the Association of Veterinary Schools (AFKHI). The Committee is responsible for onlineregistration, online-try out, conducting exam, checking and marking, announcement exam result, issue the certificate, monitoring and evaluation

Registration and Preparation Registration to take the exam can be made during final year (veterinary profession program) After payment, participant will get username and password and able to open the web and start practicing (online) to answer the questions Participant can also do registration, at last, one month before the exam To able to take the exam, participant has to submit certificate of study completion at Bachelor level and DVM level (+ payment note, photographs, letter of recommendation from vet school)

Foreign Vet or Indonesian graduated from abroad Graduated from reputable Veterinary School listed in World Veterinary Directory or World List of Universities. Registered as veterinarian in his/her country of origin or in his/her last job. Recommendation Letter from the Veterinary Medical Association in his/her country Able to do communication in Bahasa Indonesia, or passed the test for Indonesia Language.
The Exam Venue: in Veterinary School Graduates from other schools can join Time: after the graduation/ veterinary taking oath Exam Team: Committee + colleagues from Vet School and an observer from local Veterinary Medical Association Each School has 2 times a year for the Exam

Diseases control and Management (large and small animals, poultry, exotic, wildlife, aquatic animals, laboratory animal) 5. Knowledge in : a. Clinical diagnostic, pathology, laboratory and epidemiology b. Nutririon and clinical dietethic; c. Ante- and post mortem inspection; d. Obstetric, theriogenology and assisted reproductive technology e. Food safety and food hygiene; f. Veterinary drugs and biological reagens; g. Assesment of animal welfare

Announcement, Remedial, Objection Passing grade is 75, right answer should be distributed throughout all 9 competencies The result of the exam is announced within 3 weeks after examination through online website http:// www.pdh-online.org and through veterinary school Those who are not passed the first exam can take the second exam for free, if again he/she will fail he/she has to make new registration for the exam Participant can propose an objection to the committee upon the announcement of the result The objection has to be written and describing kind and objection with additional references needed and sent to the committee within 30 days after the result announcement

Registration as Veterinarian (Licensure) - SRTV Is made after getting the Certification of Competency Register as Veterinary Medical Association member CC, STRV, Membership Card (Association) are needed for the application as animal practitioner (open animal clinic etc)
