Entry Limitations please read carefully According to Chapter 1, Section 27 of the AKC Obedience Regulations, each judge will be limited to a maximum number of 8 hours of judging time per day. Entries will be limited based on the maximum number of dogs allowed per hour for each class according to the Obedience Regulations. Entries will be taken in the order received. Entries for classes assigned to a judge will automatically close if the judging limit is reached, even if it is before the trial closing date. The UDX class is offered: Once the limit has been reached in either the Open B or the Utility B class, the UDX class will be considered closed, and any subsequent entries for this class will be unacceptable in their entirety. The Saturday and Sunday Obedience classes will be held in two rings, one in each building. Transfer/Move-up Policy: Obedience & Rally transfers/move-ups to another class will be accepted as space permits within entry limits, in accordance with Chapter 1, Section 16 of the Obedience Regulations. Requests for transfer must be made in writing and presented to the trial secretary at least 30 minutes before the start of each trial. Forms may be downloaded from the AKC website at www.akc.org or requested from the Trial Secretary. Post Dated Checks and Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. WCOTC will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort will be made to find duplicate entries; however, if the entry has been processed, no refund will be made. Declination of Entries. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Westmoreland County Obedience Training Club may decline any entries and may remove any dog because of disease, viciousness, or other cause, and no one shall have any claim against WCOTC or any official thereof. Entry Fees Shall Not be Refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entries will be made. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in the filling out of entry forms. Corrections cannot be made after the closing date. Please be certain that you fill in the right class and have the correct jump height on your entries. No entry and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors, or for cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Please type or print carefully on entry forms to eliminate errors. Bitches in Season will not be admitted to the Trial. Any exhibitor with an entered bitch in season on the Trial date will be refunded the entry fee less $5.00 (each day) upon written certification by a veterinarian given to the Trial Secretary before the start of judging each day. Exhibitors are Responsible for the Behavior of Their Dogs and/or Children. All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any entry fees will be made. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when they are called to be judged. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging may be excused.
