AKC Delegate: Judi Roller judi002@centurytel.net President s Message I'm intending the members mornings to run every Saturday from 10:30-12:30. It is on the calendar. So far, no one has come so I get lots of good off leash training in on my own. Please come join for socializing and training. I did just get a fun new fetching toy (https://hurrik9.com/). Shih Tzu aren't known for their fabulous retrieving abilities for some reason but my 10 year old will go for several minutes at 10' distances when he gets in the mood. Election of Officers/Board Members The Nominating Committee is being formed to select candidates for open board positions in June 2018. If you are interested in helping to guide BKC forward into the future please consider running as a board member. Nominees must be a member in good standing for at least one year, unless an exception for less than 1 year is granted by the board. Board meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, except July, at 7pm. Director (board member) positions are 3 year terms. The President's position will also be open for nomination and is a 1 year term. From the Policies & Procedures: All six Directors represent the interests of the membership at-large.
