NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. A RECORDING FEE will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule. Chapter 11, Section 2). BEST OF BREED COMPETITION: The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs that according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a Championship but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The showing of dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a Championship according to the owner s records. JUDGE S AWARD OF MERIT: Up to 4 Awards of Merit are offered at the judge s discretion. A Rosette will be offered for this event. Non-Regular Classes (involving multiple dog entries) STUD DOG CLASS: For Stud Dogs and TWO of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its Breed. Get must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed competition or some other non-regular class. BROOD BITCH CLASS: For Brood Bitch and TWO of their Produce. Brood Bitches must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class and must be shown in the ring with their Produce. The owner of the Brood Bitch need not necessarily be owner of the Produce. While the merits of the Brood Bitch are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Brood Bitch must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its Breed. Produce must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed competition or some other non-regular class. PARADE OF TITLEHOLDERS SATURDAY For all AKC Champions, Field Trial Champions, Hunting Titleists, Obedience Titleists, Agility Titleists and Tracking Titleists, plus those Weimaraners holding WCA awarded ratings of NRD, RD, RDX, NSD, SD, SDX, V, and VX. A Rosette with the name of the dog imprinted will be presented to each entrant. SWEEPSTAKES SATURDAY Sweepstakes will precede conformation judging. Any purebred Weimaraner, 6 months of age and under 18 months of age and entered in the regular breed classes at this show is eligible. Entries in the Sweepstakes may be shown by anyone in good standing with the American Kennel Club. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION SATURDAY Novice Junior Class/Open Junior Class: At least 10 and under 14 years old Novice Senior Class/Open Senior Class: At least 14 and under 18 years old NOVICE: This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 10 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. OPEN: This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 10 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class in a licensed or member show, with competition present. JUNIOR HANDLERS who win a third Novice Class shall automatically become eligible, upon notice to the Open Class ring steward, to enter and compete in the Open Class at the same show provided the win is the third (3 rd ) first place award with competition and further providing there are one or more Junior Handlers competing in the Open Class. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from Novice Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging or one half hour prior to the schedule start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show, whichever is earlier. The Load/Unload Zone has a 15-MINUTE LIMIT. PLEASE OBSERVE! Handicapped parkers must have and display a current/valid state handicapped permit or vehicular license plate. We have limited handicapped parking and the loading zone CANNOT be used as an alternative. There are NO HOOK-UPS for overnighters. There will be NO discharge of ANY liquid on the grounds. Violation will cause immediate ejection from the grounds with no recourse or compensation.
