NADAC RULES AND REGULATIONS This trial will be held under the current rules and regulations of NADAC. Dogs can be registered on-line at the NADAC web site at www.nadac.com (click on Exhibitor Resources on the Home Page and then on Dog Registration ). IMPORTANT. Please check your dog's NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. Levels. Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records. ENTRY RULES: We will accept entries on a POSTMARK DATE basis starting Monday, May 21, 2018 until the Closing Date. Incomplete or inaccurate forms will NOT be accepted. No signatures required, please. Your entry is not valid until payment is received. Entries received after the closing date will be treated as day of entries. CONFIRMATIONS Confirmations will be sent via email. Verification may be requested. No refunds will be given for withdrawals after noon on Thursday, June 21 st. NON-JUMPING CLASSES VETERAN OR DISABLED HANDLER Handlers who are 60 years or older, or who have a disability that restricts mobility, may choose to enter the non-jumping classes as a Veteran Handler and receive 10% more standard course time. This option is for Veteran/Disabled handlers in the nonjumping classes only. The Veteran/Disabled Handler division is designed for handlers who, due to age or impairment, are mobility limited and need extra time to guide their canine partners through an agility course. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all dogs in all classes for the entire trial in this Division and must jump 4 inches lower than your Standard Division jump height requires. In the non-jumping classes, dogs will be scored and placed with their Standard Division jump height. REMINDER As of January, 2014: Dogs must enter the Veterans Division after their 9th birthday. Dogs must enter the Skilled Category, Veterans Division after their 12th birthday.

SKILLED AND PROFICIENT CATEGORIES Dogs may be entered in either the Skilled or Proficient category. A dog may only be entered in one category for the entire weekend. A dog may not be entered in Skilled one day and Proficient on another day. Dogs may enter the Skilled or Proficient category in the Standard, Veteran Dog, Veteran Handler, or Junior Handler Division. AWARDS Placement ribbons will be awarded to at least fourth place in each jump height for each class, in each category, except Chances which is a pass/fail class. A purple qualifying ribbon shall be given for each qualifying round in each class. Tsunami DIVISIONS For all classes the Divisions are Standard, Veteran Dog, Veteran Handler and Junior Handler. You must have a clean run in each Regular course, with no course or time faults, to earn 10 points toward a Regular Agility title. In the Regular Agility class, the run may receive a 5 point qualifier if the total number of faults (time or course faults) are 5 or fewer. JUMP HEIGHT TABLE: Dog s Height 11 & under 14 & under 18 & under 20 & under Standard Proficient: 8 12 16 20 Skilled: 4 8 12 16 Vets/JHs Proficient: 4 8 12 16 Skilled: 4 4 8 12 NOTE: An exhibitor entering a dog in the Skilled category must jump 4 inches lower than the height it would jump in the Proficient category, with all rules and course times of the Skilled category applying. No dog entered under veteran dog, veteran handler, or junior handler may jump higher than 16" nor may it be entered at a height higher than the lowest height the dog is eligible to jump. If a handler enters as a veteran or disabled hander, that designation must be applied to all dogs handled by that handler and for all runs that weekend. REGIONAL INFORMATION 1) This trial is taking part in the 2018 NADAC Regional circuit. 2) This does not affect the actual running of the trial. The Regional scoring takes place alongside the normal weekend scoring for the Regular rounds. 3) All levels and classes that the club would normally have will still be offered, and everyone is welcome to come! 10) Entries for the Gamblers test will be taken during the day of the trial. 11) Judges will have a short briefing and we will have info sheets for everyone at the very beginning of the trial. That will give everyone the full day to digest the rules, which will be kept pretty simple 4) The regionals are also used as testing grounds for proposed ideas by our exhibitors. The test that will be run at this trial is an updated version of Gamblers. 5) The test classes will be run at the very end of the day. No Q's are given as these are tests. 6) There is no entry fee for the test classes. The main goal of these tests is to see how experienced dog and handler teams navigate them, and what changes need to be made before the classes come out to the general public. 7) If the trial is fairly large we will be limiting the test runs to the Elite level, and a limited number of dogs to avoid adding multiple hours to the trial. If the trial is not completely full, then we will open up entries to the lower levels as well. 8) For more info on what the regional winners receive, scoring and updates on the test classes please check the NADAC website > Events > NADAC Regionals 9) Rules for the Gamblers test will be posted the morning of the show, or sent with your confirmation. They will be simple and easy to follow. These are tests and the rules are fluid as adjustments are made from regional to regional. Hence the lack of posted rules until the trial date.
