Day of Show Entries: $6.00, fur $1.50 SHOW A DAY OF SHOW ENTRIES MUST BE IN BY 8:00 AM SO THE SHOW CAN START ON TIME Changes Rabbit Day of Show: $1.00 for ear number change, $6.00 for changing a rabbit to a different class per show. There is no charge for any changes e-mailed in by 12 PM Thursday. ********* DAY OF SHOW NOTICE ********** When you arrive, and you have ear number changes or day of show entries, you will be given a 3-part form to fill out. You can only put 1 breed on the form. If you have multiple breeds, you will need multiple forms. Return the form to the show secretary and pay for your changes/entries. The form will then be separated. One copy will stay with the secretary and one copy will be put in the breed folder for each show. The writers will then be asked to enter the changes into the paperwork. This helps with the large amount of paperwork at the beginning of the show which can delay the start of the show. Martin s Cages will be at our show for your equipment needs please contact them ahead of time with any special orders. TRH Hopping will be at our show for your Rabbit Hopping equipment needs - please contact them in advance with any custom orders at http://trhhopping.weebly.com/ The Apple Country Rabbit/Cavy Club, Committee, Staff, and Superintendents caution all persons entering the show site and show grounds against all hazards which may exist, including, but not limited to: Condition of the site/grounds, parking/loading/unloading areas, entrances, floors, stairways, floor coverings, walkways, tenting/canopies, electrical appliances, cords and fittings, caging, and the presence of animals. All persons should take into consideration this event involves animals and to dress, act and exercise caution appropriate for the activity involved. All persons entering the show, the grounds, site, and show areas for whatever purpose do so entirely at their own risk. By entering the show, the entrant has indicated their acceptance of the show rules listed in the official show catalog, assume all risks involved, and agree to abide by any determination/rulings made by the show committee.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2019 @ ALLSTAR COMPLEX GETTYSBURG Show Rules 1. This show will conform to all ARBA rules. This is an official ARBA SANCTIONED SHOW and will be governed by the latest revised show rules. This is also an Official PASRBA SANCTIONED SHOW. 2. All stock must be permanently & legibly earmarked per ARBA rules. Rabbits not properly earmarked will be disqualified with no entry fee refunded. Be sure your rabbits are tattooed before the show (they will show better, there will be no stray ink, etc.). 3. Any bad checks must be made good, or the exhibitor will be left off all reports. $20 fee for returned checks. 4. Any stock showing signs of disease will be removed from the show room and entry fee forfeited. 5. No breeding allowed in show room. 6. Exhibitors attempting to or interfering with the judges or show committee or acting in a manner unbecoming an exhibitor shall have their stock disqualified and shall be rejected and barred from the show with entry fee forfeited. 7. Parents - You are responsible for your children! PLEASE no running, pushing, screaming or destruction of property. There will be no alcoholic foods or beverages allowed at the show grounds. 8. Apple Country Rabbit Club will not be responsible in the case of fire, theft, injury, or providential loss, but every precaution will be taken to prevent these losses. 9. In the event there is a dispute over the placement of an animal, whatever is found on the control sheets is considered correct in all instances. 10. No refunds of entry fees unless the entire show is cancelled. If you are unable to come to the show for any reason, you still need to pay your entry fee unless you notify the show secretary at least 36 hours in advance of the start of the show. 11. The open & youth Apple Country Shows will not be delayed due to specialty show judging, be certain to get your animals to the tables in a timely manner. 12. Please do not block the walk way between tables rows and judging tables. 13. Please do not bring all your carriers up to the judging tables, can put at end of table rows. ********** YOUTH Specials for This Show! ********** Knowledge Test Test your Rabbit/Cavy knowledge, Test will include Diseases, Genetics, Breed Standards and just General Knowledge. Three age classes, Juniors (below age 9), Intermediates (ages 10 to 14) and Seniors (ages 15-18). Don t worry if you don t think you know much just give a try. There will be 1st thru 4th metals and Participant ribbons. Photo Contest Enter your photos and a registrar will judge them. Your photos need to be 5 x7 and in an 8x10 matt. There will be two groups for photos, rabbits, and cavies, and three age classes, Juniors (photographers below age 9), Intermediates (ages 10 to 14) and Seniors (ages 15-18). When you come to the show, you will enter your photo and it will be given a number and placed on the wall within the proper group/class of photos. During the day, the photos will be judged, and the winners will be given appropriate awards. No entry fees. Miranda Groomes or David Cook will receive your entries, see them when you arrive. There will be 1st thru 3rd ribbon and Participant ribbons. Pet Class ($2 entry fee per rabbit, RABBITS ONLY) This class is intended for those much-loved rabbits that are not eligible for breed classes in the regular show. Register with the usual registration requirements as per the youth show, just mark as PET and Buck or Doe. You will need to have an ear tattoo. THERE WILL BE 2 JUDGE CLASSES, BUCK CLASS AND DOE CLASS,, THEN BEST PET RABBIT. A Registrar will be the judge. The rabbits will be based on: 1. Friendliness/ability to be handled, 2. Health, 3. Overall condition, and 4. Grooming/Care of the rabbit. The intention of this class is that project rabbits that are not eligible for the breed classes can now be shown. Entries are all Day of Show and will be handled by Miranda Groomes and David Cook, see them when you arrive to enter this class. Since this is not an ARBA class no ARBA legs will be awarded. There will be 1st thru 3rd ribbon for each class and Participant ribbons. Trophies for 1st place Buck and Doe, Larger Trophy for Best Pet Rabbit in Show Poster Contest Enter your posters and a registrar will judge them. There will be two groups for photos, rabbits, and cavies, and three age classes, Juniors (below age 9), Intermediates (ages 10 to 14) and Seniors (ages 15-18). When you come to the show, you will enter your poster and it will be given a number and placed on the wall within the proper group/class of posters. During the day, the posters will be judged, and the winners will be given appropriate awards. No entry fees. Miranda Groomes and David Cook will receive your entries, see them when you arrive. Breed ID To enter breed ID, just sign in and when you get a break from showing come and challenge yourself and see what you really know about the breeds.
