May 2018 Open Meeting May 9, 2018 The Barking at 7:00 p.m. Times FORT WAYNE OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB CLUB PHONE: 260.637.2121 www.fwotc.com President s Message & Open Meeting Hi everyone and welcome to all the new members of FWOTC. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of the board members. We are listed on the front page of the Barking Times. Our Obedience Trial will be held on May 5th and 6th. It will be held in our building and the 4H building next door. The trial will begin at 8:00am and finish around 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Of course we would not be able to hold a trial without volunteers to help out and thank you in advance. On Saturday, April 28th, we will be cleaning the backs of the green mats. Usually we only mop the front, but they have acquired some grime that needs to be removed. On Wednesday and Thursday (May 2nd & 3rd) we will finish cleaning and set up for the trial. If you can help, it s always appreciated. We are also having a C match on Friday night, May 4th prior to the trial. This match is a practice session and requires pre-entry. This match will require workers along with final set up on Friday night. A total of (5) paw points will be awarded per hour of work completed for anything that needs to be done. There will be sign up sheets posted during the next session as reminders. June 15th is the date of our banquet and annual elections. We also get a chance to recognize your achievements through the year. It s good food and friends. You will find the Reservation Form in the BT. Hope to see you there. Our next Open Meeting will be May 9th at 7 pm at our training building. Those in attendance will receive 10 PAWS points. The Executive Meeting will be held before the Open meeting on May 9th. If you have anything that you would want to be heard at the meeting you can contact me at 260-602-0955 or Crazyshelties@comcast.net, or contact any board member.
