National Gundog Champ Show Saturday 7 th August 2010 I should like to thank the exhibitors for such a lovely entry, there were many top quality exhibits that had to go card less, due to the highly competitive classes. I was splitting hairs on many decisions, and I am sure many dogs will change places in the future. It is unusual to have a quality entry with so much choice. My principal winners had quality in depth, with the flowing lines required of this beautiful and elegant breed. VETERAN DOG (3,1) 1st Stilgoe s Teisgol King Henry. ShCM. A masculine, streamlined b/w dog. Lovely overall shape and clean, ground covering movement. He didn t look his age and was in lovely condition. 2nd MacManus Crookrise Wide Awake. A very honest and sound boy, heavier in type. Well-proportioned head with good, well defined stop and good turn of lip. Soft expressive eyes and good dentition. Strong body and sound movement. MINOPR PUPPY DOG (9) 1st Theobald s Tycarreg Strangely Familyr. A typy young black and white baby. His head was balanced with dark and well shaped eye, and a deep muzzle. Well-proportioned body, deep in brisket, well ribbed and a good fore chest. Strong muscular rear, fluid movement. 2nd Grantham and Moss Kiswahili Quantum of Solace at Kingspoint. Another younger male who was a good overall shape. Attractive head, good limbs and clean sound movement. He was very well balanced and good to handle. 3rd Brown s Teisgol Carioca. Another quality o/w baby and unlucky to meet the winner. Well balanced and proportioned head with the darkest eyes. Clean neck, shoulder well laid back. Deep brisket, well angulated and muscular quarters. A happy and free mover, a little high in tail carriage. 3rd Cooper s Keepersfield I Have A Dream.
