N.B. Owners or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 are not eligible for this class. For handlers or dogs which have qualified out of Grade 1 but have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at IADSA licensed Agility Shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade 1. N.B. owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 2 are not eligible for this class. Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grade1 or 2 or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at IADSA licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7. Experienced handlers start their new dogs here. Two first places must be gained in Agility (not Jumping) Classes. *** All dogs must be registered with the IADSA *** Owners/Handlers must bring to the show their agility record books containing the officially recorded height of their dogs. Dogs from IKC, Northern Ireland, the UK or any other organisation Dogs that compete under IKC, KC or other organisation regulations will join IADSA at the grade equivalent to the grade they work in their own country/organisation up to G5. There after dogs will progress separately. *** No dog can transfer into a higher grade than grade 5 when becoming a new member *** Your dog is vulnerable and AT RISK if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even on days considered as slightly warm. Pease take care of your dog. If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damaged caused.
EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE... AUTUMN SHOW 2017 No practice will be allowed on agility equipment in the competition ring prior to competition. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the show will lead to automatic disqualification. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry. Dogs under 18 months of age are not eligible to enter. All wins prior to the day specified for the closing of entries shall be taken into account when entering any class. It is the competitors responsibility to be available for their class. Bitches in season are not allowed on the show grounds, and mating of bitches within the precinct of the show grounds is strictly forbidden. Dogs must be kept under proper control at all times. Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or webbing collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of the collar i.e. not attached by a ring. Handlers will be permitted to walk the courses before judging commences. All competitors must show respect for the judge. IADSA will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained through accidents by exhibits, exhibitors or other persons attending the show. Exhibitors must clean up if their dogs foul the grounds. Suitable facilities will be provided for this. The Committee reserves the right to appoint a substitute Judge if circumstances prevent an appointed Judge from fulfilling the appointment. Training rounds are at the judge s discretion All dogs must be kept on lead at all times around the ring and in the camping area; the show secretary has the right to ask handlers to leave if they don t comply Food is not to be carried into the ring by hand or on the handler s person anywhere. AUTUMN SHOW 2017 IFCS Qualifier The IFCS will take place from 10th -14th April 2019 in The Netherlands. The Competition consists of Biathlon Agility & Jumping, Standard Agility, Jumping, Snooker & Gamblers and Large & Small Division Relay teams consisting of 3 dogs per team. Maxi & Midi (Medium) dogs are considered Large division dogs, while Mini (Small) & Toy dogs are considered Small division dogs. Handlers are restricted to competing with a maximum of one (1) Dog in any one height class for any one course. Handlers can only compete on one National Team. Dogs can only compete on one National Team. From 1 January 2019 and for WAC19 the following regulation will apply - Handlers are restricted to running the following type of Dogs per course: A maximum of one (1) Small Division Dog per course. A maximum of one (1) Large Division Dog per course. A Handler is allowed to run one (1) Small Division Dog and one (1) Large Division Dog over the same course. You should enter your dogs at the height category that you think your dog fits. Your dogs will then be measured prior to competing and if any changes are required they will be moved into the height class that they have measured in to. Height measurements Toy Up to and including 30cm (300mm) Mini Up to and including 40cm (400mm) Midi (Medium) Up to and including 50cm (500mm) Maxi No restriction in height any height dog Criteria for selection is: This competition is open to all pedigree & mixed pedigree dogs & handlers from grade 5 - grade 7 (under IADSA rules). All dogs selected must have an up to date agility record book. All those wishing to be considered for selection to the Irish team 2019 should enter the qualifying classes as there will be 1 win on place available in each of the four height categories. The win on places must be clear rounds within the course time.
