A dog s jump height may be changed, at the trial, only with the permission of the trial secretary. TDAA will no longer observe a four-paw safety rule on contacts in the Beginner Standard class (or in any game using Beginner rules for performance). If you do not have a TDAA height card or email your dog must be measured at this trial. Disabled Handlers A time exemption of 4 seconds is granted to disabled handlers for Standard course times and for qualifying course times for games class. FEO will have a maximum time of 1.5 of the SCT. No training in the ring. GAMES DESCRIPTIONS Twelve Tone Row is a dog s-choice game in which exactly 12 obstacles must be performed for points. Each obstacle has a different value; and sometimes a single obstacle has different values depending on the direction taken. The 12th obstacle is required to be an obstacle designated by the judge (usually the weave poles). Twelve-Tone Row is scored Points, minus Faults, then Time. Warped Helter Skelter is a mixture of the games Time Warp and Helter Skelter. It is then, a game of speed and skill and distance, played on a numbered course consisting of obstacles arranged in a spiral that builds speed. Warped Helter Skelter is scored Time, plus Faults, less Bonus. Futbol is a jumpers sequence that features soccer balls placed on the course that the handler must kick or throw over a hurdle to earn a bonus. Futbol is scored Time, plus Faults, less Bonus. Tag 10 is a dog s choice game in which the dog and handler are challenged to collect points in 10 point blocks. Faulting any obstacle erases unbanked points! Tag 10 is scored points, then time. Miniature Golf is an agility game that is played like a game of golf. The handler tees his dog into one of three tunnels closely grouped together and then runs a short course associated with the tunnel the dog chooses. Miniature Golf is scored Time, plus Faults, less Bonus. The Daisy Game is mostly a dog s choice game. The handler and dog choose the order and direction of play. The petals of the daisy are plucked by the dog, alternating she loves me she loves me not in scoring. The dog earns a bonus for ending on a she loves me pluck of a petal. The Daisy Game is scored Time, plus Faults, less Bonus. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. All dogs must be on leash or crated at all times except when in the ring or when in designated areas, being the warmup area and the designated off leash area. It is expressly understood the exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees will be made. Food and toys are not permitted in the course area and handlers are not allowed to use whistles or other instruments or devices. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group if they wish. At the handler s option, the dog may wear a flat (buckle or quick release) collar with or without tags or wear adornments, clothing, ties or other attachments. Choke collars, pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including rough handling or misconduct of any kind, will result in an excusal from the ring. Teacup Dogs Agility Association Rules can be obtained online in the form of a PDF file at www.k9tdaa.com Entries will not be accepted without fees. No entries will be accepted which require a signature for delivery. All entries must be submitted on official TDAA Agility Entry Forms, one dog per entry form. Photocopied entries without the TDAA agreement are NOT acceptable. Unsigned, incomplete or illegible entries are NOT acceptable and cannot be entered in the trial. Faxed entries and/or credit cards cannot be accepted. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a $25.00 service charge for any returned checks. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, and act of God, public emergency, and act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Bitches in season not permitted in the trial. Full refund for bitches in heat, if notification is sent to the Trial Secretary in writing (E-mail OK) no later than July 4, 2018.
