Doris Baster Perpetual Trophy Highest Scoring Dog in the Regular Classes Saturday and Sunday trials Doris Baster Perpetual Trophy, Revere Bowl with Base, offered by the members of the Hyattsville Dog Training Club for competition at its trials only. The trophy will remain in the possession of the Club until it has been won three times by the same person, not necessarily with the same dog, nor in successive years. The Trophy will become the permanent possession of the first three-time winner. A Revere Bowl will be given annually until permanent possession is obtained. Each Owner/Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at the show is bound by the Certification and Agreement on the front and back of the entry form regardless of who may have completed and submitted the form. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Returned checks, post-dated checks or declined credit cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a $30 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, or excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the show giving club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refunds will be made. An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required for each first entry, $3.00 for each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2)

Notice to Exhibitors All judging will be indoors. Transfers will be permitted in accordance with Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 16. and Rally Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 15. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. The Rally ring is 40 x 50 feet. A Rally wait-list will be established in order to fill openings created by entries that are withdrawn prior to the event closing day. All Obedience and Rally classes will be run in jump-height order. Your jump height MUST be included on the entry form for all classes that require a jump. Saturday: Small-Tall in ascending catalog order Sunday: Tall Small in descending catalog order Lunch will be available on site for a small donation. Fast food is available within 2 miles. REFUND POLICY: Bitches in season are not permitted to compete in obedience trials. The club will refund 50% of the entry fee for bitches in season that are unable to compete for that reason. Refund requests must be accompanied by a dated, signed letter on official business letterhead from your veterinarian stating the reason that your dog cannot compete. The Trial Secretary must be notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial. E-mails, phone calls and non-letterhead notes will not be considered. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Show Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Crating space is limited. No ex-pens. No unentered dogs, please. No dogs under 4 months of age on show grounds. There will be no smoking in the building. Please dispose of all trash in the proper manner. The judge is not required to wait for dogs. It is the responsibility of the owner/handler to have the dog at ringside when required and without being called. All dogs present must be held on a leash, or confined to a crate except when being judged. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The host club, Clantyre Show Secretary Services and its agents, employees, etc. will assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. A limited number of catalogs will be available for sale at the show site for $5.00. Waiver of Rights Animals in Distress All persons attending these dog shows waive any claim for damages should Hyattsville Dog Training Club have to take action to remove an animal in distress from a parked vehicle or crate. If you use an entry service (superintendent, online entry or fax service) other than the Show Secretary listed in the premium, please be aware of their terms, addi onal charges and delivery policies.
