President s Message I want to first thank Lisa Cruanas for lining up a really interesting speaker at the last meeting. Dr. Becky Jester gave a very enlightening lecture on acupuncture and other types of holistic healing. If you would like to see more about her practice her website is www.drjester.com. Jessica Smith has assembled a nominating committee for the 2016 slate of officers and board members. At the November meeting there will be nominations from the floor accepted. Please consider how you can help your club by becoming a board member or an officer. Jessica also raised the issue of some members not being able to attend meetings on Fridays. I would love to hear some feedback on what nights would be better for some of the members. Please contact me via email at QRLabs@yahoo.com or Jessica at westlanelabrdors@gmail.com with your input. We are still in need of volunteers to chair the 2016 events. Please refer to the list in this newsletter of the upcoming events. Julie Marquis is working on the Show & Go to be held on February 21st at My Dog s Gym in Salem. More information is included in this newsletter.
