Non-Regular Classes involving single dog entries: (Same classes for Bitches Veteran Dog - 7-9 years Veteran Dog 9+ years Performance Class - Class for dogs and class for bitches who have earned an AK Agility title, AKC Rally title, AKC Obedience title or AKC CAT title. Dogs may be in a working utility clip. These dogs and bitches must be intact. These dogs and bitches will move on to compete in Best of Breed. Working Class -- Class for dogs and class for bitches who have earned an AKC recognized title, Junior, Senior or Master Earthdog (JE, SE, ME). Also acceptable, an American Working Terrier Association (AWTA), Certificate of Gameness (CG), Working Certificate (WC), Hunting Certificate (HC), a Barn Hunt Association (BHA) Title, Novice (RATN), Open (RATO), Senior (RATS), Master (RATM). Dogs may be in a working utility clip. These dogs and bitches must be intact. These dogs and bitches will move on to compete in Best of Breed. NON-REGULAR CLASSES: Multiple Dog Entries Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs and their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. Get only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed Competition or some other Non-Regular Class. Brood Bitch Class - Same as Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. As the judge s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. NOTE FOR BOTH: The Stud Dog/Brood Bitch may be entered separately in regular classes not of a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition at the regular entry fee of $ 35.00 with Stud Dog/Brood Bitch Class indicated on the entry form in the space for Additional Classes with the additional fee of $ 30.00. The Get/Produce MUST be entered and shown individually in one of the regular classes or Best of Breed Competition. There is no additional entry fee for the Get/Produce as participants with their Stud Dog/Brood Bitch. Brace - This class shall be for two Bedlington Terriers, irrespective of sex, similar in appearance, performing in unison with at least one common owner and presented in the ring with no more than two handlers. The dogs comprising the Brace must be named at the time of the entry. Entry forms must be submitted for each dog and submitted to the Show Secretary at one time. The entry fee is $ 30.00 for the pair, if this is the only class in which they are entered. Specify Brace Only in the space for Dog Show Class. If a dog that is part of a Brace is entered in a regular class, specify Brace Class in the Additional Classes. An AKC Registration $2.00 event fee will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or Member Club, Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. This fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the fee is collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2) All dogs must be held on leash except when in the exercise area or crated. Grooming is indoors. Exhibitors are responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates and grooming areas. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. No entry shall be made or accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
