IN-CALVERS: Dams sold as PD+ will only be warranted if over 12 weeks in-calf at the time of sale. All cows and heifers stated to be in-calf that have been served not less than 12 weeks before the date of sale and are shown to be PD+ will be guaranteed by the Vendor to be in-calf unless otherwise announced at the time of sale. However, no guarantee can be given as to the date of calving or breed of calf. Any claim under this guarantee must be made in writing, supported by a Vet certificate, to the Auctioneers within 7 weeks of the sale. Any other service dates are a statement of fact only and not a warranty. HERD HEALTH: Unless otherwise stated cattle will not have been tested for any notifiable diseases, i.e BVD, Lepto IBR & Jonhes etc. UNSOUNDNESS: (Vendor s Warranty) Unless stated to the contrary in the catalogue or at the time of sale, subject to Condition 25 and any specific exclusions detailed below, animals sold are warranted by the vendor as follows: (a) Store, Dairy and Beef Breeding Cattle: Each animal is warranted to be free from any unsoundness. This warranty is an after sale on the day warranty in respect of eyes, teeth, legs and feet or any visible defect. In the case of clinical Johne s disease this will be a 35 day warranty. CATALOGUE DESCRIPTIONS & TB DATES: Are a guide ONLY & full details will be provided at time of sale. Any queries regarding passports and/or named sires must be logged with the Market Office within 72 hours. NAMED SIRES: Please write the sire name in full on your entry form and passports. Due to stringent measures now in force (DNA testing) please do not sell your stock with a registered sire unless you are 100% sure. 6 DAY STANDSTILL: Movements must not take place from a holding where any cattle or sheep have been moved onto that premises in last 6 days.
