THESE EVENTS HELD UNDER THE RULES OF THE CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB TEST DETAILS: Running order will be determined by a draw; if possible handlers with more than one dog will run in nonconsecutive order. Include name of handler on entry form. A running list will be available at the tests. Pigeons and/or game birds will be used on land. Ducks will be used in water. All qualifying dogs will be awarded a rosette or ribbon. Separate entry forms must be completed for each dog and each test entered. All handlers in the hunt test must wear dark or camouflage clothing. No white or light clothing is allowed in the working certificate test except in WCX for the blind. All dogs must be kept under control at all times. Bitches in season may NOT be entered in the WC tests or the Hunt tests. Refunds will be given upon receipt of a veterinarian certificate PRIOR to the test. Lunch will be available at the headquarters for a $6.00 fee includes meat or vegetarian option, salads, beverage and deserts. Lunches must be pre-ordered no later than during registration. EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBER FOR FOREIGN DOGS Effective Jan/1992 all dogs that are foreign-born and foreign-owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events will no longer require a CKC registration number but will require an ERN - Event Registration Number. For information on obtaining an ERN, visit the CKC website: http://www.ckc.ca. At the latest, the ERN must be applied for within 30 days of first day of entering a CKC event. NON MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE (section 24-12-3) (April 2011), will be charged to a resident of Canada, who is a nonmember of the C.K.C. The non member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by that individual. In order of the title to be awarded, the non member will have a choice to: either become a C.K.C. member or pay the non member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. All premium lists will carry a note stating the fee applies only to dogs wholly owned by non member residents of Canada and is not applicable to C.K.C. members. The Working Certificate Test Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the CKC shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. A copy of this regulation shall be prominently placed in every premium list and catalogue.
