Dogs with a PAL/ILP number or an AKC Canine Partners listing number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf, bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect a dog s physical or mental performance are not eligible to compete. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Wherever the word dog is used, it includes both sexes.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS A RECORDING FEE of 50 cents and $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee are required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the show-giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only (AKC Dog Show Rules, Chapter 11, Section 2). A RECORDING FEE of $3.50 is required for the first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry at any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. The Greater St. Louis Training Club, Inc. and its members and Purina assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. Special Notes: Purina Event Center staff reserves the right to refuse entry to any party/person or animal and retains the right to remove any person or persons and/or any animal from the premises in order to ensure the safety of any and all visitors and dogs. Exhibitors indemnify Purina, the affiliated person/s or businesses conducting the Show or Trial, against any and all claims of arising that may be leveled against them, jointly or severally, in respect to any damage, injury or loss to persons, pets and/or property. ENTRY FORMS MUST BE SIGNED at the bottom by the owner or the owner s duly authorized agent, otherwise entry cannot be accepted. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Errors in entries made by the exhibitor cannot be corrected after the closing date. PLEASE PRINT PLAINLY OR TYPEWRITE all information on your entry form to help avoid errors. CHANGES, ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS to entry forms must be received in writing or by e-mail prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED: - in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. - if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disturbance, fire, an Act of God, an act of public emergency, strike, or any other cause beyond the control of Greater St. Louis Training Club, Inc. - for duplicate entries POST DATED CHECKS AND RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES with checks drawn on U.S. Accounts or with International money orders in U.S. Funds. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES will be made as soon as practicable after entries close with confirmation and judging programs. Should such acknowledgement not be received by exhibitor within a reasonable amount of time, please notify Trial Secretary.

BITCHES IN SEASON are not allowed to compete. A refund of the entry fee, less $8.00, will be made for a bitch who comes in season provided the Trial Secretary is notified PRIOR to the start of the Trial and verified in writing by a veterinarian. RV HOOKUPS are available at Purina Farms next to the Event Center. Rate is $25/night. Please complete the RV Reservation form and include with your entry form(s). Contact the Trial Secretary for more information. THE SHOW SITE will be available on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following the conclusion of judging on Saturday. EXHIBITORS SHOULD FOLLOW THEIR VETERINARIANS recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. CRATING will be available along the wall in the Purina Farms Event Center. All crates must be on a solid type of matting that won t allow liquids or other substances to seep through on to the floor. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the restrooms or concession area. TRANSFERS WILL BE ALLOWED at this trial per AKC Regulations, provided that written notification is made to the trial secretary at least one-half hour prior to the start of the trial. Transfers will be added to the end of the running order of the class they move up to and every effort will be made to accommodate handlers with multiple dogs in the same class. DOGS NEED BE PRESENT ONLY AT THE SCHEDULED TIME OF JUDGING according to the judging program that will be mailed to exhibitors. Dogs will be excused unless needed for further competition. JUDGES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WAIT FOR DOGS. They will adhere as closely as possible to the judging schedule. FOOD will be available on site at the concession stand. No outside food or beverage is allowed on the Purina Farms property. Violators will be reported to the AKC. PLEASE HELP US RETAIN OUR MOTELS AND SHOW SITE BY CLEANING UP AFTER YOUR DOG.

PURINA FARMS RULES FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS Welcome to Purina Farms. We want your experience here to be as enjoyable as possible. To help ensure this, we ask that all visitors conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner in and out of the show ring. For your dogs safety, they should be leashed or crated unless competing in an event. All RV exhibitors are asked to check-in upon their arrival with a club member and/or Purina representative. Camping is only allowed in the designated RV areas on the property. Advanced arrangements need to be made to overnight at the facility past the last day of the event you re attending. As good neighbors, please keep all equipment, extra cars (max of 2), etc. in your assigned area and dispose of all trash in receptacles provided. For safety reasons no campfires are allowed. Purina Farms is a family friendly facility and public intoxication is prohibited. Cars, vans and RV s are only allowed on designated roadways and parking areas. Other motorized vehicles are not allowed on premise with the exception of wheelchairs and golf carts for handicapped exhibitors. We ask that you stay within the designated show site, which is within 100 yards of the Purina Event Center. Please no smoking in and around buildings. No hunting or swimming is allowed. Weapons of any kind, illegal drugs and fireworks are not permitted on the premises. Enjoy your stay! Purina is not responsible for any damage, injury or loss to persons, pets and/or property. Motels require that dogs be crated when unattended. Any damages to motels or the trial site can result in disciplinary action by the Trial Committee. All owners/exhibitors should be aware that the entire motel grounds are considered within the trial grounds. You will be responsible for all damage to your room and may be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the rules of the AKC. Refer to the Obedience Regulations Section 16a. Transfers (formerly Move-ups). The club will clearly state in its premium list whether transfers will or will not be allowed. If no statement is provided in the premium list the default is to allow transfers. After a dog earns a title, it may be transferred to another class in a future trial, even though the closing date for the trial has passed, provided the club offers transfers. A transfer (i.e., from an obedience class to an obedience class; or a rally class to a rally class) may be requested if, according to the owner s records the handler and dog are eligible and the dog has completed the requirements for the title after the closing date of the trial in which the advanced entry is to be made.
