Dogs may remain at the show site until Sunday, May 11, 2003. NO exe rcising of dogs in the area of Obe d i e n ce (be tween the 2 pe rm a n e nt pavilions) rings or agility ring. RV parking by advance reservation only. Contact Linda Robey 636-677-6644. The ABTC has an excellent history of maintaining its Specialty Headquarters & show site in good condition. Rings, grooming area & hotel rooms occupied are expected to be left with no appreciable damage, and as clean as possible, after the Specialty is over. Failure to maintain these stand a rds can result in AKC suspension. The Sh ow Co m m i t tee may make & enfo rce any rules they deem necessary to insure the continuity of the show & the goodwill of the hotel. Ex-pens may be used outdoors at the hotels. They may be left outside for the duration of your visit. Clean up equiment will be available at each hotel & at Purina Farms. Please clean up after your dogs. Grooming is not allowed in the roo m s. Th e re is a grooming building provided at each hotel. There are elevated tubs, hot & cold running water, power, towels & a limited number of tables. There is lots of room to bring your own table. There is also a grooming facility at the show site. BA I T: Co m p l i m e nt a ry fresh liver & other baits will be available at ringside fo r exhibitors. Exhibitors are requested to not bring litters of puppies to the show Headquarters or to Purina Farms. Canopies & te nts are pe rm i t ted on & around parking areas outside the fe n ce d - i n show field at Purina Farms. Canopies can also be set up on gravel areas inside the show area. NO tenting or exercise pens are allowed on the grassy show fields. Crating is allowed ringside for only 15 minutes prior & 15 minutes after the scheduled class in which handlers & dogs are competing. Crating is also allowed on the concrete surface of the permanent pavilions. Up-to-date Purina Guidelines will be placed in your Exhibitor Welcome Packet. A Recording Fee of 50 cents will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the show giving Club and paid to the Am e ri can Kennel Cl u b. If a dog is ente red in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2) CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS. There will be no refund for duplicate entries. 5

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs allowed in rings during judging only. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - None will be mailed. RETURNED CHECKS/INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry fee. Fees must be paid in guaranteed funds. Checks will not be accepted. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each re t u rned check & credit ca rd. Su b s e q u e nt re t u rned checks & cre d i t card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Ent ry Fee will not be refunded in the eve nt that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil d i s t u r b a n ce s, fire, ext reme and/or dangerous we ather co n d i t i o n s, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent. The show giving Cl u b, the Sh ow Su pe ri nte n d e nt, their agent s, employe e s, etc, assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. No ent ry shall be made and no ent ry shall be acce p ted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by telegram prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. Refunds of $3.00 & less will not be issued due to the costs of processing. An administrative fee of $2.00 will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries. STUD DOG CLASS - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Re co rd in Best of Breed Co m petition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class, the Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get. 10

B ROOD BITCH CLASS - Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bi tch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. BRACE CLASS - Two dogs of the same Breed or Variety of Breed with identical ownership and both dogs must be entered in another class. TEAM CLASS - A Class for four dogs of the same Breed or Variety of Breed with identical owner - ship and dogs must be entered in another class. HONOR PARADE The non-competitive Honor Parade is open to any Belgian Tervuren not entered in any regular or n o n - regular (including Ve te ran) Co n fo rm ation classes at this show. Dogs may be ente red in Ve te ran Swe e p s t a kes and/or Pe rfo rm a n ce eve nt s. In addition, each ent ra nt must meet at least one of the following qualifications: 1 Have a Championship title plus at least two AKC o be d i e n ce, herd i n g, agility or tra c ki n g titles. 2 Have placed at least once in the Working/Herding Group. 3 Be a BAR dog or bitch. 4 Be a previous BOB or BOS winner at an ABTC National Specialty. 5 Have won a High in Trial Award 6 Have an OTCH title. 7 Any Tervuren at least 8 years of age on the day of the Honor Parade & have at least one AKC title or BAR award. 8 Show Secretary, Show Chairperson and any Specialty Judge who will have completed their Specialty assignment, may enter a dog in the Honor Parade as long as the dog meets one of the above requirements. All Rescue dogs shall be altered. Dogs that have been rehomed, returned to the breeder, and/or through the breeder has found a new home, are not eligible for the Rescue Pa ra d e. Rescue dogs are are not eligible to co m pe te in any Conformation event at the National, but may be entered in any Performance event as well as the Rescue Parade. There is no age limitation.
