She is an excellent trainer, so she and her dog learned the sport quickly. Her dog started competing just after his 1st birthday. They immediately became a valuable team who can run in any position, pass any dog and that rarely makes a mistake. This year s candidate is a reliable and dependable team member who always joins the team at every tournament both at home and on the road. She always comes early to help set up and stays late to help clean up at class and at tournaments. She is happy to do any job for her team including box loading and washing and transporting our team balls. She always has a positive attitude and generously shares her runs with other teammates without complaint. This member must really love flyball because she is always smiling. She was amazed of all that our club had to offer. She jumped right in and showed exceptional sportsmanship, encouragement, club support and drive for training and titling her dog. She shares her enthusiasm for all dog sports with other members and nonmembers of ODTC. She is an enthusiastic individual when representing our club. She gives kindness to her dog, fellow sports friends and their dogs! This highly energetic individual can be found at the club in the evenings and weekends, assisting at trials, seminars, miscellaneous club activities, as well as, training her dog. If someone asked her to assist, she would put forth the effort of two people. Knowing of a new project that needs to be accomplished, she steps up and volunteers her assistance. When instructors needed an assistant, she took on the task even though she had minimal experience. She was eager to grow and learn within the club, obtain the knowledge from the instructors to become an instructor and support the future of the club. Here is a quote taken from her Instructor Bio.. Working and playing with our dogs solidifies the bond and love we share with these amazing creatures. The connection she developed with the club members gave her the resources and drive to train and title her dog in many different dog sports. Just four years ago she brought home a wild and crazy young dog! After joining our club, she immediately registered her dog in Rally, Agility, and Obedience classes. Later, she added Nosework and CGC classes to that list. Over the past year and a half, her dog earned titles in Rally, Barn Hunt, Agility, Dock Diving, Fast CAT and Trick Dog. Along the way, she accumulated many first-place ribbons. Her dog is also ranked the fastest of its breed in 2017 to compete in Fast CAT. Currently, she is instructing the Basic Obedience class and assisting with the Rally class. Just about every month she is heading to a trial, attending classes or assisting her fellow sports friends.
