The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. 2

REGULAR CLASSES Baby Puppy -A dog between 3 mths of age and under 6 mths on the day of the show Junior Puppy -A dog between 6 mths of age and under 9 mths on the day of the show Senior Puppy -A dog between 9 mths of age and 12 mths on the day of the show. 12-18 Months -A dog betwen 12 mths of age and 18 mths on the day of the show. Canadian Bred -A dog which is born in Canada. Bred by Exhibitor -The handler must be the owner/co-owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog in this class, but need not handle the dog further for awards. Open Class -For all dogs. Specials Only -Dogs which have a recorded CKC registration or Event Registration Number (ERN) and have attained the required points for Championship Status. Saturday, September 15 th, 2018 Show #4 Rules for Owner Handled Competition We are trying to keep the rules as simple as possible. 1. Owner Handled Box must be checked on entry form for Sat. Sept 15 th - Show #4. This is open to all non-professional owner-handler. Dogs must be OH throughout the competition. 2. OH s will be published in the catalogue on indicated on the ring steward sheets. 3. Judging of OH will take place after Breed Judging Competition. 4. OH, Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs eligible to compete for BB. 5. If the BB is OH it will automatically be the OH BB. 6. If ineligible, then the next highest OH placement will compete against the eligible dogs of the opposite sex. 7. Should none of the BB competitive dogs be OH then any OH dogs (not directly or indirectly defeated in the classes by an OH dog) will be invited back. 8. The OH BB dogs will compete for OH in Group immediately after Regular Group Judging. 9. Should the Regular Group 1st dog be OH then it will be automatically OH in Group. 10. If no OH places in the Group (1-4) then all BB OH dogs will be called into the ring for OH Group Judging. 11. If BIS dog is OH, then it will automatically be OH BIS 12. CHAMPIONS & CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 1: A dog awarded WINNERS at a championship show held under these Dog Show Rules shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the determination of the number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided hereunder. In no case may a dog earn more than five points at any single show. ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS To obtain an ERN simply do the following: Send a photocopy of the dog's registration certificate reflecting current ownership - with a written request for an ERN. Include full payment in the amount of $62.40. Accounts may be paid with personal or business cheque, money order, Visa or Mastercard. For Non-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque must be certified. Non-residents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not be accepted due to fluctuating currency rates. Provide us with your full return address. ZERO TOLERANCE Any individual initiating bullying tactics at the Sudbury & District Kennel Club Shows will be asked to leave the show grounds premises immediately and for the remainder of the event (no refunds). A report will be filed with CKC and the Disciplinary Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit. Definition of Bullying: Refers to a range of behaviors in which targeted individuals are repeatedly, and over time, treated in a mean, insulting or abusive way. Bullying can be initiated deliberately or unconsciously. The affected person may feel upset, afraid, isolated, or humiliated. The bully sometimes acts alone and sometimes as part of a group of people. Examples include: insulting a person's skills, looks, or habits spreading false or malicious rumors, gossip, or innuendo berating/belittling an individual unwarranted criticizing or ridiculing, especially in the presence of others giving insulting nicknames engaging in practical jokes that humiliate undermining or deliberately impeding a person's work physical gesturing that intimidates, offends, degrades, or humiliates mocking a person's accent, abilities or mannerisms yelling or shouting which intimidates, coerces, or belittles 10
