ATTENTION FOREIGN EXHIBITORS Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. CHAMPIONS & CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 1: A dog awarded WINNERS at a championship show held under these Dog Show Rules shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the determination of the number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided hereunder. CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. 7 8

The CDC DOG SHOW COMMITTEE reserves the right to refuse any entry, subject to C.K.C.Dog Show Rules. 8. THE SHOW SUPERINTENDENTS WILL BE IN FULL CHARGE OF THE SHOW which will be governed by C.K.C. Rules. 9. Identification cards and judging schedule will be mailed as soon as possible after entries close. 10. Unless a dog is officially entered, it will not be allowed in the show precincts. 11. Dogs need only to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled judging time, and will be excused, each show, when not required for further judging. 12. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have the dog in the ring when the dog s class is scheduled for judging. 13. The CDC Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident, or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors, or patrons. 14. Since the Show Secretary is not responsible for the engaging of the photographer, please direct any communication regarding photographs to the photographer. 15. If because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management; it is impossible to open or to complete the show no refund of entry fee will be made. 16. To avoid noise and confusion, there will be no individual dogs called to the ring by loud-speaker. Times on the judging schedule are broken down hourly in individual breeds. Extra copies are available from the Secretary. The Show giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict. ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS To obtain an ERN simply do the following: Send a photocopy of the dog's registration certificate reflecting current ownership - with a written request for an ERN. Include full payment in the amount of $57.75. Accounts may be paid with personal or business cheque, money order, Visa or Mastercard. For Non-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque must be certified. Non-residents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not be accepted due to fluctuating currency rates. Provide us with your full return address. Faxed requests will be accepted. Please include your VISA/MasterCard number, expiry date, cardholder's name and signature. An ERN must be obtained within 30 day of obtaining points, awards or scores to avoid cancellation. If factors beyond your control prohibits this or presents a problem, please send a written request for a 30 day extension.
