Trial Schedule for both days: Obedience 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Registration for day of trial entries, move-ups & check-in for all obedience exhibitors. Judging begins at 8:30 a.m. Classes will run in the following order: Utility B, Utility A, Utility Veteran, Open B, Open A, Open Veteran, ODX B, ODX A, Novice B, Novice A, Sub-Novice B, Sub-Novice A. Non-regular class will follow award presentations for Regular classes. Fees: Obedience: Pre Entry Price: $15.00 for first class each dog, $10.00 second class same dog/same day. Junior Entry Price: $10.00 each class entered. Day of Trial Price: $20 for each class entered. Junior Entry Price: $15.00 each class entered. Classes offered: Utility B, A, Veteran; Open B, A, ODX B, A, Veteran; Novice B, A; Sub-Novice. Awards: For obedience, qualifying scores will receive a green ribbon; strip ribbons will be awarded for placements in each class. Rosettes will be awarded for High Scoring Australian Shepherd, High Scoring Other Breed, High in Trial Overall, High Combined, and High In Trial Junior Handler. Other prizes donated by DTCDC members will be awarded for placements. Special Notices for Exhibitors: All Entries must be on official ASCA entry forms only. No other forms can be accepted. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. All entries must be accompanied by a check or money order for the appropriate amount or will not be considered a valid entry and not be accepted for entry. Entry forms will be available at the check in table for Day of Trial Entries, as well as tracking number forms if needed. All dogs must have an ASCA registration number or an ASCA tracking number to compete with the exception of those who submit their application for a tracking number at the trial desk. No entry will be accepted without a tracking number, registration number or a valid application with a check made payable to ASCA for a tracking number. Dogs must be entered in classes they are eligible to compete (i.e. if you enter Open, you must have completed your ASCA CD with the dog you are entering). No entry fees will be refunded. Make checks payable to DTCDC. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and will be subject to a $35 charge, and also reported to ASCA if restitution is not made in a very timely manner. The State of Texas requires a current rabies vaccination. All dogs over 12 weeks of age must have a current rabies certificate. A tag does not show proof of vaccination. Thank you for your cooperation. NO dogs Under 6 months of age will be permitted at this trial. Any handler, owner, or spectator using excessive abuse towards a dog or exhibiting poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave the Trial site for the duration of the Trial. Grooming, crating, food and dog treats must be kept at least 10 feet from the obedience ring. DTCDC, ASCOT, their Boards of Directors, ASCA, Its Board of Directors, and the property owner assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs, personal property, and/or children. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS at the show site and at the hotels so that we can continue to have this site and the area hotels available for our use for dog events! It is a white cement single story building set back on the lot. There is a large sign on the gate. From the North: Go South on I-35 through downtown Dallas. Stay right when it splits, so that you are going South on Hwy. 67. Pass I-20 and Exit at Cockrell Hill Road. Continue South on the service road. Turn right on Alexander, then right on to Crestside. From the South-Bound Service Road: Turn right on the second street which is Alexander. There are only two streets that turn to the right. Pass the first one and then GO VERY SLOWLY.
