Goal was to find homes for 600 pets Don t get off track, pursue your goal Overall Mission is No More Homeless Pets in Duval & NE Florida Both goal & mission had to be considered Make sure that all your budget and other resources are commived to that goal Know What Details to Focus On: Anything that didn t directly contribute to reaching that goal was either Fluff or a Distrac*on Make sure your logis*cs matched your goal Planning, Budget & Details Goal was 600 adop*ons 3 Most Important Things: Loca*on, Loca*on, Loca*on Easy to find, iden*fy and market Capacity to hold enough pets for 600 adop*ons? 20,088 total (5,188 for cats) Next event will have 27,700 sq j for dogs & 20,088 for cats Enough available Parking 500 parking spaces, plus lots of nearby parking Simply enough space to handle the event October 25 28, 2012 2

JACPS commived to bringing all their available pets 14 groups commived to bringing 722 pets I worked as cheerleader, briber and lobbyist Transport, s/n assistance, equipment Planning, Budget & Details Marke*ng $38,778- - 70% of budget was spent on marke*ng Goal was adop*ons, marke*ng must support that goal Focus of ads was Mega Pet Adop*on Theme was Patrio*c with Free adop*ons for all ac*ve duty and re*red military Call to Ac*on 800 dogs, puppies, cats, kivens must find homes Offer a deal, adop*on fee just $25, includes...
