THE BARKER Southern Colorado Kennel Club Newsletter October 2016 President s Message Greetings Everyone: Fall is in the air. Many things are happening with the Kennel Club. At the Training Center, the window (near the main entrance) has been replaced and the outside stucco will be completed shortly. The garage door by the crates has been adjusted and insulation has been installed. This should help with our heating bills, since we are cutting down on drafts. Other happenings include the Dog Show, new training classes and schedule and our Awards Dinner to be held in January. Our annual Dog Show is just around the corner. The success of our dog show depends on the support and hard work of our members. There are many jobs at the show, so please consider supporting this major endeavor of the club. Please contact Rene Wolfe if you need to sign up to work at the show. You may want to check the website for training classes that are being offered. You should have received an email about new classes starting soon. There are a variety of classes so you may want to check out our website for the many listings. Contact Pat Lester, head trainer, to reserve your spot. I m looking forward to seeing you at our meeting on Tuesday, October 18th at 7 PM.
