Chick n Bees Coops for Chickens

Pre Made Coops Locally Made-Variations Available-Custom Coops on referral

Wyandotte's Cottage Coop This coop is very stylish and very sturdy. All latches and hardware are made with galvanized or zinc plated materials which ensures they will not rust. The exterior is all new redwood and the framing is Douglas Fir; we recommend that you paint or stain the legs for added protection. The redwood is primarily new - but occasionally we will use recycled redwood if it not too weathered. We have found that the old redwood is too dry and frequently cracks posing long term problems. There is an observatory window and one large nesting box. We also include a baby chick roosting bar which can be later removed when your chickens are full grown. The coop is easy to pick up and move and would allow you to move it to different spots in your garden. The coops dimensions are approximately 3' x 4.5' with roof overhang; height is approx. 5'0 at ridge. We have designed all our coops to be able to fit through standard garden gates; and nesting boxes are protected from roosting bars. We are confident that you will not find another coop at this quality elsewhere! Built in Marin County. Redwood leg upgrade $35 $625

The Wyandotte's Mobile Get Away We hear from many San Francisco residents that they would love to buy the Wyandotte Cottage - but there is absolutely no way they can get the coop to their backyard, since there is no access or the gate is too narrow. So, we are pleased to announce that we now offer The Wyandotte Mobile Get Away - we have created panels that you will assemble yourself. It is as equally labor intensive for us to create the Wyandotte's Cottage as assembling it our selves - so un-assembled or pre-assembled same pricing. The coop takes 1-2 hours to assemble and requires power tools. $625

The Rock Amazing price and extremely pleasing design. It can hold between 6-8 chickens comfortably. There are 2 nesting boxes in the coop and multi level roosting bars. The coop is elevated to protect against predators and burrowing rodents. The floor is made of wire screened which makes cleaning the coop very easy. The sides of the coop are clad in new redwood - but we use Douglas Fir for framing. We use zinc coated hardware on all latches which ensures no rust down the road. This coop also has a baby chick roosting bar which can be removed when your chickens are full grown. This coop is maintenance free and will last easily 20 years. The coop is approx. 4.11 across x 3.3 deep $675

Jersey Giant Country Coop Chic and functional the Jersey Giant Country coop has redwood siding and has the same front facade as The Rock" but can hold more chickens since we have attached a rear "bump out" for the 3-4 nesting boxes. Coop width is 4"11 and depth is 5'. Coop can be upgraded to 4'x4' legs for additional $69. Can easily accommodate 8-10 chickens. All hardware and roofing is galvanized for outdoor use. We recommend that you build a large run surrounding this coop. $899

The Orpington Coop The Orpington coop has been designed to look like a barn and is made of redwood fencing which means no on going painting and maintenance! Additionally, the coop's legs are redwood which holds up better next to soil. The advantage of using redwood over Douglas Fir means the wood does not require to be painted and can stand up to wet winters. This coop is maintenance-free. This is a great price for a redwood coop and it will easily last 25 years. The coop is very stylish and has a peaked roof and a viewing window for both you and your chickens convenience! The door and window are nicely trimmed out. The coop measures 6.0' across x 3.2 deep; can accommodate upwards of 9-10 chickens. The coop floor is made of hardware cloth which allows the droppings to fall to the ground; and makes cleaning very easy. 4x4 Redwood leg upgrade available. $950

All of he following coops have been made by a master-craftsmen and has been building chicken coops for over 5-years, as well as tackling remodels, custom carpentry and more. When not building, he likes to spend time with his family. Any of the following or custom built coops come with your choice of free delivery or a chick starter package from Chick n Bees.
