The registration/authority to compete (ATC) number will be required for each entry. 2 All dogs registered and resident outside the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club ATC number before entry to the show/event can be made. All overseas entries without a Kennel Club registration number or an ATC number will be returned to the exhibitor/competitor. 3 Entry fees are 2.00 per owner per dog per class.. Minimum entry fee is 6.00 whether or not an owner enters a dog or dogs in a total of 3 classes between them. 4 See the table below the schedule of classes. 5 The committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries. 6 Only dogs of 18 calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for competition at Kennel Club licensed agility shows. 7 Not for competition entries will be accepted for dogs aged 4 calendar months and over. Dogs must be Kennel Club registered with their details recorded on the entry form. There is no entry fee. 8 No bitch in season is allowed to compete. 9 No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show. 10 Dogs must not wear slip chains, collars or leads when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or webbing collar is permitted providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel which is an integral part of the collar, i.e. not attached by a ring. 11 Should a judge be unable to fulfil the appointment to judge the Committee reserves the right to appoint another judge. 12 No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges. 13 Kennel Club Standard Marking Regulations apply for all standard classes. 14 The height limit for dogs is:- Large Dog classes are for dogs measuring over 430mm (1ft. 5ins) at the withers; Medium Dog classes are for dogs measuring over 350mm (1ft. 1.75ins) and 430mm (1ft. 5ins) or under at the withers; Small Dog classes are for dogs measuring 350mm (1ft. 1.75ins) or under at the withers. 15 Judges at an agility show may not enter for competition a dog which is recorded in their ownership, or part ownership, or handle a dog at the show at which they are judging. Dogs may be disqualified if proved to have been handled in the class by the scheduled judge s spouse or immediate family, or resident at the same address as the scheduled judge. 16 Removal of dogs from competition. Following discussion between the show management and/or a veterinary, a dog shall be prevented from competing and/or removed from the show if it is:- a bitch in season; suffering from any infectious or contagious diseases; interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent: of such a temperament or is so much out of control as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other animal; or likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing. The circumstances of such a removal shall be recorded in the competition/show Incident Book and submitted to the Kennel Club. 17 In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including 25 days before the start of the competition, i.e. 19 May 2015 shall be counted when entering for any class. For these purposes a competition shall be defined as all classes covered in the same schedule. In the event that a dog becomes eligible for the next grade at a particular show, after the entry for that show has been sent, it is the competitor s responsibility to notify the show secretary at least 14 days before the date of the show. The dog should be moved to into the appropriate class(es) for the next grade. If there are fewer or no classes available for the next grade the competitor should be offered a refund of the relevant entry fees. 18 Should circumstances dictate the Society, in consultation with the judges, may alter the arrangements as necessary. Any changes and the circumstances surrounding them will be reported to the Kennel Club. 19 In the event that the show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the society will refund fees, less reasonably incurred expenses. Refunds will be made by cheque within 3 months of the show date to all those that have entered and requested a refund within 1 month of the show date. 20 Except for mobility aids, nothing shall not be carried in the hand while the dog is under test and food shall not be given to a dog whilst in the ring. 21 Should a judge deem a re-run is required, any results and/or faults gained in the previous run must be discounted. 22 Separate entry forms must be completed by each owner and must be signed by the owner, or an authorised agent, in accordance with the provision specified thereon. Entry forms must be accompanied by the appropriate fees. 23 Owners/competitors will be issued with free passes to gain entry to the event. 24 No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease, or having been exposed to such disease during the period of 21 days prior to the competition, may compete. Competitors infringing this regulation will be liable to be fined and/or dealt with under Kennel Club Rule A11. 25 It is the competitor s responsibility to be available for their class. Welfare of Dogs: Exhibitors (or competitors) whose dogs are entered in the show must take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dogs are met, and must not knowingly put their dogs health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. A breach of this regulation may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under KC Rules and Regulations.
