Novice Dogs Novice Bitches Bred by Exhibitor Dogs Bred by Exhibitor Bitches American-Bred Dogs American-Bred Bitches Open Dogs Open Bitches Winners of the above classes, if otherwise undefeated at this show, will compete for: Winners Dog Winners Bitch BEST OF BREED COMPETITION The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs according to their owner s records have completed the requirements for a Championship but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The showing of dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a Championship according to the owner s records. Non-Regular Classes (involving multiple dog entries) STUD DOG CLASS: For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its Breed. Get must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed competition or some other non-regular class (other than Stud Dog). BROOD BITCH CLASS: For Brood Bitches and two of their Produce. Brood Bitch must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class and must be shown in the ring with their Produce. The owner of the Brood Bitch need not necessarily be owner of the Produce. While the merits of the Brood Bitch are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Brood Bitch must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its Breed. Produce must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed competition or some other non-regular class (other than Brood Bitch). NOTE: As the judge s decision in the Stud Dog or Brood Bitch Class is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. All entries in the Sweepstakes MUST also be entered in a Regular Class. The Sweepstakes Class with age division should be shown as an Additional Class on the same entry form used to enter the dog or bitch in a Regular Class. For permanent possession it must be won three (3) times by the same owner not necessarily with the same dog nor at consecutive shows. A 6 Tiffany Sterling Silver Revere Bowl will be given to the winner to commemorate the win. These awards are reserved for those quality dogs that are not awarded Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed and that the judge believes are worthy of final consideration for Best of Breed. PARADE OF CHAMPIONS This non-competitive Parade is open to all Tibetan Mastiffs who are AKC Champions of record at the time of closing of entries for this Specialty. Dogs entered in this Parade must be entered on a regular entry blank, with Dog Show Class indicated as Parade of Champions. A Commemorative Rosette imprinted with the dog s name will be presented to each entrant. PARADE OF RESCUES Eligibility: Dogs entered in this non-competitive Parade may not be entered in a regular class at this Specialty, must be neutered/spayed, and must have been rehomed through Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. or another rescue organization. Dogs entered in this Parade must be entered on a regular entry blank, with Dog Show Class indicated as Parade of Rescues. Please include the dog s name, owner s name and a brief summary of the dog s rescue situation. A Commemorative Rosette imprinted with the dog s name will be presented to each entrant. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. The AKC will collect a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on each entry of a dog, and 50 cent Recording Fee for the first entry of a dog in all AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule. Ch.11, Sec. 2). In accordance with AKC Rally regulations, the AKC will collect a $3.00 per entry of dog Rally Event Service Fee. A show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Recording Fees and Event Service Fees for AKC. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNA- TIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or its Superintendent assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH THE ENTRANT. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. The Superintendent will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS. REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. FAX ENTRIES Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for bitches in season. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. The Superintendent will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. TROPHIES & PRIZES will be awarded in the ring to the person exhibiting the dog. No awards will be mailed. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
