Cross with drum brakes Cross with drum brakes is a cross folding wheelchair offering greater security for the user and the helper. The wheelchair brakes may be applied from the push handles. Cross with drum brakes offers the same adjustment possibilities for comfort and propelling as the standard Cross. The drum brake rear wheels fit in all positions, giving the best adjustment possibilities. They are equipped with quick release hubs. Standard Options The brake pins grip the tyres, giving a secure braking effect. Amputee legrest Adjustable in height, length and angle. The same model fits both the right and left side. The angle of the footrests is adjustable (infinitely variable). Angle adjustable legrest model 1 Padded calf support, adjustable in depth, height and angle. The push handles are height-adjustable independently of the backrest height. Angle adjustable legrest model 2 Calf support which folds and can be adjusted to two height settings on the legrest. Suitable for both right and left side. When the seat is folded down, the seat tubing is fixed to the ends of the frame in cupshaped brackets. Angle adjustable legrest model 3 Calf support which folds and can be adjusted to two height settings on the legrest. Fits both the right and left sides. The backrest is formed by means of the back straps and back cover. Bow handle Available as an alternative to push handles. The height of the backrest is adjustable (infinitely variable) between 30 45 cm/ 11¾ 17¾. This adjustment can be made with the user sitting in the chair. Brake with angled brake handle This handle is considerably easier to manage for users who have difficulties gripping the standard handle. Here, the backrest angle is set to +15 and the backrest has been raised to 42 cm/16½. Brake with extended brake handle This brake handle can be angled forward at sideway transfers. The brake handle may also be angled backwards. The seat can be up to 6 7 cm/2¼ 2¾ deeper, depending on the backrest upholstery adjustment.
