NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS This trial is sanctioned by the North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC), the American Mixed Breed Obedience Registration with the Willamette Agility Group as the sponsor club, and by the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) (pending) with the Three Rivers Working Australian Shepherd Association (TRWASA) as the sponsor club. Exhibitors through submission of their entry acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC/AMBOR/ASCA rules and regulations and relevant Willamette Agility Group policies, including the following rules regarding entry and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. Dogs must be registered and have a valid registration number before entries will be accepted. Pending numbers are no longer accepted. NADAC registration forms can be obtained at the NADAC web site or dogs can now be registered on line and will receive a permanent registration number immediately. Go to www.nadac.com (click on "dogs" on the home page), or call the trial secretary. Current Jump Height Table, Breed Exemption List, description of classes, levels, and divisions are included in the current Exhibitors Handbook. A copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free from the NADAC web site. Exhibitors may request a hard copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook by sending $5.00 to: North American Dog Agility Council, 11522 South Highway 3, Cataldo, ID 83810, or Info@nadac.com. All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring. No leads, collars, food, toys or other aids or devices will be permitted on the course at any time. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $20.00 service charge for bank returned checks. There will be no refunds in the event that a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for dismissal. 100% of entry fees will be refunded if requested before the closing date. After the closing date, injured or ill handlers or injured, ill, or in heat dogs will receive a refund less $10.00 handling fee. Verification from a doctor or vet may be requested. Running order will be determined at the club's discretion. An attempt will be made to separate runs for handlers with more than one dog in a class. THE MANAGEMENT will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. NADAC RULES AND REGULATIONS Each Regular course will have a built-in gamble sequence: a designated obstacle sequence within the course for which a gamble line will be placed on the ground to mark the handler restriction for the gamble. Dogs who are entered in the class may, depending on their performance, earn a qualifying score in just Regular, just Gamblers, both classes, or neither class, with a single run. In order to qualify in Regular, the rules remain unchanged. The dog must complete the entire course with 5 or fewer total faults (course or time faults). The handler need not successfully complete the gamble (or even attempt it) in order to quality in the Regular class. A dog-handler team which performs the gamble at a distance without fault and earns 5 faults or fewer elsewhere on the Regular course will quality in both classes. Please refer to www.nadac.com for the complete rules and regulations. At check-in, exhibitors will receive one token for each Regular class entered (up to a maximum of two). During the walk-through, you decide whether or not you want to attempt the gamble. If you do, turn in one token to the scribe before the first dog is on the line. If you do not turn in a token, you can NOT earn a Q in the gamble. If you enter the Regular class, wager a token in the gamble, and qualify in both the regular portion and the gamble sequence, you will receive points in both Regular and in Gamblers. There are four Regular classes during this trial. The maximum number of gambles any dog may earn qualifying points for is two. ULTIMATE WEAVE POLE CHALLENGE The Clean Run Ultimate Weave Pole Challenge is a competition designed to determine the fastest dogs to weave 60 weave poles in several height categories. Complete rules of the challenge can be found at www.cleanrun.com/infocenter.cfm. Each dog and handler team will be given the option to perform a maximum of two warm-up/practice attempts before the record attempt. All dogs that successfully complete the 60 weave poles will receive a special lapel pin from Clean Run. Dogs that set a new record in a height category will also receive a $100 Clean Run gift certificate and be included in the Clean Run listing of record holders. Any dog that sets an Ultimate Weaving Dog record will also receive a $250 Clean Run gift certificate. Ribbons will also be given for 1 st through 4 th place in each height category. In addition, $1 of each entry will be put into a prize pool to be awarded to the dog with the overall fastest time at this event. ASCA If your dog is an ASCA registered Australian Shepherd, fill in your dog s registration number where designated on the entry form. If your dog is not an ASCA registered Australian Shepherd and you would like to earn ASCA titles, you will need to obtain an ASCA tracking number for your dog. Once you have an ASCA tracking number, use it as your dog s ASCA Registration Number on all entry forms. ASCA Service Membership and Tracking Number Forms are available on the ASCA web page at www.asca.org/forms/trackapp.pdf. AMBOR The American Mixed Breed Obedience Registration was established in an effort to improve opportunities for mixed-breed dogs and to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of their handlers in obedience and agility competition.
