Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. You MUST indicate jump height for all classes which require jumps. Rally entries will be ordered by jump height, in descending order beginning with 16 inches. Obedience judging will be in ascending order by jump height beginning with 4 inches. Entry confirmations, judging schedules, ring assignments and directions to the show site will be emailed no later than 10 days before the trials. If an exhibitor provides an email address, he/she agrees that judging programs and armband numbers may be sent via email. Acknowledgement of receipt of entry will be made by email. If you do not receive email confirmation that your entry was received within a reasonable time after mailing it, notify the Trial Secretary. Allow several days for first class mail to be received by secretary. Catalogs Trial Catalogs will be available by pre-order only for $3.00 per catalog. Please enclose order form below with fee. Pre-ordered catalogs may be picked up at the Secretary s table at the trial. ENTRY FEES: OBEDIENCE & RALLY TRIAL CLASSES FIRST ENTRY of a dog in a Regular Class. $25.00 Each additional Entry of the same Dog, same trial... $15.00 Each Non-Regular Class Entry.$15.00 Entry Rules: Entries close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, after which entries cannot be accepted, changed, or cancelled. Entries must be signed by owner or agent and submitted with fees ONLY on the standard AKC entry form. No other entries will be accepted. Telephone, Fax, and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Downloaded and/or Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Express or overnight entries MUST be marked NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Please note: There are separate entry forms for Obedience and Rally included in this premium. If you use these forms and enter the same dog in both obedience and Rally, you must send a separate form for each. Obedience and Rally are separate events; if you enter both Obedience and Rally in the same trial, the First Entry fee applies to each. THE MORNING TRIAL AND AFTERNOON TRIAL ARE SEPARATE EVENTS. THE FIRST ENTRY FEE APPLIES TO THE FIRST ENTRY IN EACH TRIAL. Obedience Entry Fees: $25.00 first entry, $15.00 for second entry of same dog, same trial.. Non-Regular Classes Entry Fees: $15.00 for each entry, regardless of number of entries per dog. Entry Fees include the AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 for the first entry of a dog and $3.00 for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, and the $0.50 AKC Recording Fee (on first entry only). Rally Entry Fees: $25.00 first entry each day, $15.00 second entry same dog, same trial. Entry Fees for Rally include the AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 for each first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry. Bitches that come into season after the closing date for entries may have the entry fee refunded less $4.00 per class upon written request of the owner or handler before the start of judging on the day of the trial. Entry Fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by the Trial Committee. If riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the Club make it impossible to open or complete the Trial, no refund of entry fees will be granted. This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event Buildings are smoke free. No dogs will be allowed in the ring for practice at any time. No dogs may be left in the building overnight. Please bring your own chairs.
Directions to show site: From 441, turn north on 19 to Eustis, follow 19 (becomes Grove) to 452, turn left, fairgrounds will be approximately 1.2 miles ahead on your right. From the east follow 44 into Eustis, then north on 19 to 452. From Ocala 441/27 turn left on 42 (through Weirsdale), right on 452, follow 452 south approximately 11 miles to the fairgrounds on the left.
Earn a title in one weekend, same location, at the Fall Cluster! Lake Eustis Kennel Club Obedience and Rally Trials on Saturday and Sunday, October 31 and Nov. 1, 2015 http://www.lekcdogclub.org TRANSFERS; (applies to both regular Obedience and Rally). After a dog earns a title, it may be transferred to another class in a future trial even though the closing date for the trial has passed. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. Transfers may be approved, provided the next event class and the judge is available and the class has not reached its limit. Transfer forms are available on the AKC website, from the trial secretary, from the trial chairperson, Betty Van Dellen (svandellen@earthlink.net), or the club website, www.cfodcinc.com. You MUST supply a jump height for the transfer. Photographer Margret Taylor is available to photograph you and/or your dog both days of the trial.
