REGULATIONS 1. Only Members and Complimentary Pass Holders are entitled to free entry. 2. Entries to be lodged in writing with Secretary subject to these regulations on or before the stated Closing Time. No late entries will be accepted 3 The appropriate Entry Fee as set out in this Schedule must accompany each entry. No rebate of Fees will be made. Stamps as payment are not accepted. 4. The Committee/ Secretary shall have the power, without assigning any reason to: Reject or cancel any entry at any time. Prohibit the participation of any person or exhibit in any class or event. Cancel any event or class. Alter the time at which any class or event shall take place. Alter the conditions of any class. Remove any exhibit from the Show grounds. Transfer an exhibit or exhibitor to any other class. 5. The Society shall not be responsible for loss, damage or injury occasioned to any exhibit or property of any exhibitor from any cause whatsoever. 6. Exhibitors enter entirely at their own risk, in case an exhibit, whilst on the Show grounds causes injury or damage to any exhibit or exhibitor the person or property of any member of the Society or the General Public, the owner of such exhibit shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Society, its Officers, Officials and Members from and against all damages, costs, claims, expenses and liabilities incurred in connection with such exhibits. The exhibiter shall be liable to the Society and its Officers for any damages or losses occasioned to them by the exhibitor or their agent. 7. The Society in accordance with VAS Ltd requirements has entered into an agreement with AON Risk Services to provide Public Liability Insurance in respect to all animal entries. 8. The owners and/ or controllers of stalls, side shows and stands shall keep indemnified at all times the Society, its Officials, Members and property against all damages, costs, claims, expenses or liabilities incurred in connection with the conduct of any stall, side show or display stand. 9. The Committee / Secretary of the Society reserve the right to adjudicate any entry or question in dispute or doubt and to make any determination upon matter whether covered by the conditions of entry or not. The decision shall be final and binding. The Society shall have the sole and absolute control of all matters affecting the conduct of the Show. The Society has adopted the rules and procedures of VAS Ltd in respect of hearings and appeals. 10. Raffles or collections on the Show grounds prior to or on Show day are prohibited without written consent of the Committee of Management. 11. No side show or stallholder shall reserve space on the Show grounds unless application and a 50% deposit is paid to the Secretary. 12. Each exhibit is required to take part in parades in the Arena at times set out. Failure to do so will entail non-acceptance at subsequent Shows. 13. PRIZES AWARDED WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON SHOW DAY AND WILL BE FORFEITED IF NOT COLLECTED. 14. O.H.&S REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES. 15. The Winner and Runner up in each of the above sections will be eligible to compete at the Group Final to be organised by the Central & Upper Goulburn Group. That event will be held at a venue and on a date to be fixed. The Winner & Runner up from the Group Final will then compete at the State Final.
