The team collects the 10 point blocks and banks them by going thru the tire. Each 10-point block has to be unique. FOUR LEAF CLOVER The dog performs a numbered sequence shaped like a 4-leaf clover. After performing the "stem" the team performs each of the 4 leaves of the clover, then returns to the stem of the clover to the finish line. The handler can earn bonuses for remaining in the center section while the dog performs the leaves. TIME & SCORE This game is set up like a standard course. If the team finishes the course under time, they can start over again. The team must be clean/no faults. Each level must complete the number of obstacles for the level for which they are competing. AGILITY TWISTER The goal of this game is to follow special colored obstacles chosen by the judge just prior to walk through. The handler will make up a course using any of the obstacles that meet that order. JUDGE S BRIEFING ON DAY OF TRIAL SUPERSEDES ANY PREVIOUS BRIEFINGS. 3

The Following is a List of Acceptable Obstacles: A-Frame (6 8 x 24 wide x 44 high, slats) Closed (Collapsed) Tunnel (16 dia) Single and Winged Jumps (30 wide) Dogwalk (8 x 32 high, slats) Open (Pipe) Tunnel (16 dia) Teeter (8 x 13 high, no slats) Table (3 x 3 ) Tire Jump (15 dia) Weave Poles 20 spacing TDAA uses scaled-down equipment on a proportionally set course. OBSTACLE FAMILIARIZATION will be provided for all dogs who enter this trial as their FIRST TDAA trial. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. All dogs must be on leash or crated at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. Food and toys are not permitted in the course area and handlers are not allowed to use whistles or other instruments or devices. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group if they wish. At the handler s option, the dog may wear a flat (buckle or quick release) collar without tags or other attachments. Choke collars, pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited. Unsportsmanlike conduct including rough handling or misconduct of any kind will result in an excusal from the ring. Class Information Standard Class BEGINNER AGILITY All dogs shall be eligible for participation in this class. There shall be no grandfathering of titles from other organizations. INTERMEDIATE AGILITY Dogs that have earned the Teacup Beginner Agile Dog (TBAD) or that have satisfied the appropriate Fast Track requirement shall be eligible for participation in this class. SUPERIOR AGILITY Dogs that have earned the Teacup Intermediate Agile Dog (TIAD) or that have earned the Teacup Superior Agility Dog (TSAD) or that have satisfied the appropriate Fast Track requirement shall be eligible for participation in this class. CLASS I All dogs shall be eligible for participation in this class. There shall be no grandfathering of titles from other organizations. III Only dogs that have earned the Games II (TG2) or Games III (TG3) or that have satisfied the appropriate Fast Track requirement shall be eligible for participation in this class. 4

Height Divisions (NEW!!) Owners are responsible for entering the proper height division. Judges reserve the right to measure dogs entered in any trial. At the handler s option, dogs may be entered in a higher height division, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs that run in a height division lower than their proper division will be eliminated. Special provisions for Jump Height Exemptions based on a dog's structure is explained in detail at http://www.k9tdaa.com click on Rules and go to section 3.4 Jump Heights. 4" - restricted to dogs measuring 8" or less at the withers or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 12" or less at the withers. 8 - restricted to dogs measuring 12" or less at the withers or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 15" or less at the withers. 12" - restricted to dogs measuring 15 or less at the withers or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 17" or less at the withers. 16 - restricted to dogs measuring 17 or less at the withers Instructions A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of the new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquisition, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been made to TDAA. Fast Track Move-Up How the Fast Track Move-Up Works Titles may be grand-fathered from other organizations on a Fast Track basis. A dog with a higher title from another organization may move up on the same day to a higher level of TDAA competition with a qualifying score. It is possible to move up from Beginners to Superior on the same day, if the dog qualifies first in Beginners, and then qualifies again in Intermediate. Likewise in Games classes, moving from Games I to Games II, then from Games II to Games III. A qualifying score in the lower class is required to move up to the higher class. The dog s owner must submit a copy of title certificates for the dog. Under no circumstance may the dog fast track to a higher level of competition than that at which it competes in the other organization. Include $8.00 with your entry and check appropriate boxes on the entry form. Payment of the $8.00 is no guarantee that your dog will qualify at the lower level and is non-refundable. This is a one-time fee. Please mark your entry for those classes you wish to have a Fast Track move-up should your dog qualify. 5

VOLUNTEERS! By its very nature TDAA is small. Small dogs, small equipment, small trials, small number of handlers. We need all hands to make a small trial work. Please sign up to volunteer to work during classes you are not running in. We will make sure you get adequate time to warm up your dog and do your walk-through. We want everyone to have a pleasant experience running TDAA and at the same time helping to make the trial run smoothly. FOOD: There will be a potluck lunch organized for each day of the trial and a fantastic workers raffle! MEASURING FOR JUMP HEIGHT NEW!! EVERYONE MUST READ!! Due to the new rules regarding jump heights, many dogs may be required to be measured by the judge of record at this trial even though you have been previously measured. The judge will record the dog s measured jump height, which exemptions apply and the dog s actual jump height. After receiving 2 measurements, you will receive an official jump height card. If the measurements cause the dog to be measured into different jump heights, then a third judge is required to make a final measurement. \ Dogs will now earn placements in their measured jump height NOT in their actual jump height.!!"#!$!%&""'( $$) * "($"'&!* $"'#!!#$ Measured jump height: Body Exemption (Y/N?)
