Please write your phone number on the back of your fax sheet we have had exhibitors fax us a blank side and have had no way to identify them to inform them of the error. IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ON-LINE ENTRIES Because this is a 200 dog entry conformation show it is very important that you fill in the email address line so that we can contact you re approval of your entry. It is also VERY IMPORTANT that your credit card number is correctly submitted and that it will accept the charges declined credit cards delay the approval of your entry and therefore your entry into the limited entry show is not guaranteed. There will be a $50.00 service charge for all NSF cheques and credit card declines. Tendering of an NSF cheque or declined credit card in payment of entry fees shall be considered non-payment of entry fees and is an offense punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards by the CKC. There will be no refunds on duplicate entries or overpayments

ATTENTION CANADIAN EXHIBITORS WHO ARE NOT CKC MEMBERS NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE ***Payment of this fee is not required to enter this show*** This fee only applies to dogs wholly owned by non-member residents of Canada and is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member, nor does it affect US exhibitors who must apply for an ERN number (see below). This fee is applicable starting at the first event in which the dog earns awards, points, titles, legs and is not pro-rated. Non-members will receive a letter from CKC Head Office informing them that they have 30 days to join the Club or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Dogs co-owned by two or more individuals the first person listed in the CKC dog records will be considered the caregiver of the dog and all communication will be sent to this person. For further information please contact the CKC or see their website www.ckc.ca *Please note that the CKC Membership application and the Non-Member Participation Fee forms are available on the website under CKC Services and then Forms On-Line. NOTICE TO ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS ERN NUMBERS All foreign born and foreign owned dogs who enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events do not require a CKC registration number but will require an ERN (Event Registration Number). To obtain an ERN, mail or fax a photocopy of the dog s foreign registration certificate with cheque or VISA/Mastercard number (expiry date, cardholder s name and signature). Provide your complete address for return of ERN to you. The cost is $64.07. Dog may initially be entered as listed but the ERN must be applied for within 30 days of winning CKC points, awards, or scores to avoid cancellation. Nonmembers who require class details are asked to call the Show Secretary at 780-988-5020 or by email at Maldawn@aol.com It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be familiar with the Conformation, Obedience & Rally rules as set out by the Canadian Kennel Club REGULAR CONFORMATION CLASSES AT THIS SHOW Junior Puppy A dog between 6 months and under 9 months on day of the show Senior Puppy A dog between 9 months and under 12 months on day of the show 12-18 Months A dog between 12 months and under 18 months on day of the show Canadian Bred A dog which is born in Canada Bred by Exhibitor A dog(s) owned and handled in the ring by the breeder. The handler must be the owner/co-owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog in this class, but need not handled the dog for further awards Open For all dogs Specials Only For dogs who are Canadian Champions only REGULAR OBEDIENCE CLASSES AT THIS SHOW Pre-Novice For any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has not earned the title PCD (Pre Companion Dog) title in Canada. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A dog may be entered in this class that has not earned the title of CD in Canada or US. Novice A For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has not won the title of CD. Only one dog may be entered in this class by any one exhibitor. A dog which has won a comparable degree in any foreign country is not eligible for this class. Novice B For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has not won the title of CD in CANADA. Dogs in this class may be handled by any person. More than one dog may be entered by any handler, but each dog must have a separate handler for the sit and down exercise. Novice C For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the title CD or any higher obedience titles. Dogs may compete in this class indefinitely. Scores earned by dogs entered in Novice C are NOT eligible for High in Trial and do not qualify a dog for any title. Novice Intermediate For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned a CD or higher obedience title. This is an elective class and earning the title is not a requirement to enter the Open classes. Dogs may compete in the Novice Intermediate class indefinitely and may also be entered in any other official or unofficial classes for which they are eligible. OPEN OBEDIENCE CLASSES: there are four (4) Open Classes. The Open HA and Open HB classes which include the Out of Sight Group Stay exercises and the Open 18A and the Open 18B classes which include the Change of Positions and Group Sit-Walk Around exercises. The Open A classes shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized Open HA breed which has earned the title of CD but has not earned the title of CDX. The handler of any dog in these classes must be the owner or a member of their immediate families. Only one dog per handler is allowed in these classes, and that person must handle the dog in all exercises. No dog may be entered in more than Open 18A one (1) Open class at any one trial. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a UD title may not handle a dog in these classes. The Open B classes shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized Open HB breed which has earned the title of CD. Dogs which have earned the title of CDX or any higher obedience titles may enter in the Open B class. A dog may also be entered in the Utility class in the same trial. Dogs in these classes may be handled by the owner or any other person. The same handler must handled each dog Open 18B in all exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered in which case, they must have additional handlers for group exercises. No dog may be entered in more than 1 Open class at any one trial. Utility A For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the title of CDX but not UD. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a MOTCH title may not handle dogs in this class. The handler in this class must be the owner, co-owner or a member of their immediate families and must handle the dog in all exercises. Utility B For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned of CDX or UD. Dogs may be handled by the owner or any other person but must handle the dog in all exercises. 30 minutes prior to judging the judge will choose which of the six numbered routines will be performed. REGULAR RALLY OBEDIENCE CLASSES AT THIS SHOW Novice A Novice B Intermediate For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has not earned the RN title or any CKC obedience title other than PCD. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC CDX title shall be eligible to enter this class. Dogs of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed may compete in this class until a qualifying score in the Rally Advanced class is earned. For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RN title. This is an elective class for exhibitors and earning the title is not a requirement for a dog to enter Rally Advanced classes. Dogs may continued to compete in RI indefinitely.

Advanced A Advanced B Excellent A Excellent B Master For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RN title but not earned the RA title or any CKC obedience title other than PCD. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC CDX title shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or a member of their immediate families. For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RN title. A dog completing the RA title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RA title, but have not earned the RE title or any CKC obedience title other than PCD. No handler who has exhibited a dog through it CKC CDX title shall be eligible to enter this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RA title. A dog completing the RE title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class and a person may enter more than one dog in this class. For dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned the RE title. To earn a Rally Master title a dog must earn 3 qualifying scores of 85 points or more under at least 2 different judges. A dog completing the RM title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. MIXED BREED OR UNRECOGNIZED BREED ENTRIES IN PERFORMANCE EVENTS Mixed or unrecognized breeds are allowed to participate in CKC Performance Events but require a Canine Companion Number to compete. The CCN number application form and information on requirements is available at www.ckc.ca under Other Show & Trial Forms GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Verbal abuse of officials, members or volunteers will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the show without refund. The participation in any manner or in any capacity at a competitive event held under these Rules shall be considered a privilege accorded to any person by the CKC and such privilege may be extended and withdrawn by the Discipline Committee. Any person availing himself of the privilege of participating in any manner, shape or form and in any capacity, including that of a spectator at a competitive event held under these rules shall, by such participation, be deemed to have agreed to the authority of the CKC and its Board of Directors. A judge officiating at a dog show held under these rules shall not be subjected to indignities of any kind during the progress of the show. It shall be the duty and obligation of the club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. 2. ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED WHEN A BITCH ENTERED IN OBEDIENCE OR RALLY COMES INTO SEASON after entry of the bitch has been submitted if a Veterinarians certificate (certifying that the bitch was in season within the ten day period preceding the trials) is delivered to the Show Secretary on or before the date of the trial. WE WISH TO REMIND ALL EXHIBITORS THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS THE SHOW SUPERINTENDENT WILL ENFORCE THESE RULES DUE TO THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS WE HAVE HAD IN THE PAST.
