Individual Cremation At Rossendale Pet Crematorium, we provide a dignified and personal approach when caring for your beloved companion. Whether you need us to collect your pet from your home or veterinary practice, or you would like to bring your companion to the crematorium, peace of mind is assured. Your pet will be cremated individually and the ashes presented in one of our hand selected caskets or urns, with a certificate confirming the individual cremation. Carefully packaged, your pet s ashes will be returned back to your veterinary practice. Alternatively, please contact us to arrange collection from the crematorium, where you will receive a warm welcome. Saying Goodbye at the Crematorium By prior appointment, you and your family are welcome to attend the cremation of your pet to say your final goodbye in the privacy of our Chapel Room. Caskets and Urns Treasure the special memories of your pet Choose from one of our caskets or urns offering you the opportunity to keep the ashes at home, inter or scatter in a favourite place. Traditional Casket Classically styled, this timeless wooden casket is supplied complete with an engraved nameplate. Available in a natural wood or mahogany finish. Paw Print Urn Our brass urn, with engraved paw prints on the lid, has a pewter style finish. Sleeping Cat Casket A poignant choice for our feline friends. Each hand crafted wooden casket has a unique finish. Photo Tribute Box Place a photograph in the lid of this attractive casket. The ashes are kept in a handmade paper bag. Scattering Tube This biodegradable scattering tube is ideal for you to inter or scatter the ashes. We are here to help you select the right casket or urn for your pet s ashes. Communal Cremation Keep beloved companion pets together forever Your pet will be cremated alongside other pets, with the ashes scattered in our peaceful meadow. Located in the memorial gardens, the meadow is divided into the twelve months of the year and the ashes are scattered in the relevant months. A certificate of cremation can be provided, if requested. With communal cremation there is no return of ashes. Whilst all cremation options offer a dignified service, we encourage you to consider them carefully to ensure that the service is right for you and your pet. Memorial Gardens Interment and Burial Over three thousand pets have been laid to rest in our memorial garden, situated on the tranquil hillside overlooking the Rossendale valley. You may wish to inter your pet s ashes in our beautiful memorial gardens. Single and family plots are available, and human ashes can be interred alongside pet s ashes. With our burial service, your pet is carefully laid in the Chapel of Rest in a fully lined coffin. Here family members can say their final farewell before your pet is laid to rest in a prepared grave in the memorial garden. At Rossendale Pet Crematorium we offer human burial plots within our exclusive human burial site, giving pet owners the opportunity to be laid to rest close to their beloved pet.
