Lends A Paw visits the church and meets all the church helpers who are busy doing their different jobs around the church and the churchyard. They work together to make the church a very special place. The Reverend Freddie Fisher reminds everyone about how we should all help each other in any way that we can. Many of them have brought their pets and animals from their farms Mr Penyard with his pampered pig, Mr Campbell with his clumsy cow, and Miss Shearing with her shy sheep. As The Reverend Freddie Fisher gets ready to bless all the animals, the congregation begin to wonder where the two scruffy stray little kittens have come from. As mother cat feeds her kittens, Muhammad his reminded of the awe and wonder of the natural world. Year 2 Projects The Enchanted Woodland If you go down to the woods today you re sure of a big surprise. Foxes and badgers, voles and mice, beady-eyed owls in the swaying tree tops. Beneath the leaves are tiny footprints animal or imp? You decide! Woodland plants and creatures. Superheroes Who s your favourite superhero? Spider-man? Wonder Woman? Maybe your heroes are ordinary people who ve achieved great things. Or is those people who save lives in our emergency services that you admire most? The Baby Birds Muhammad and his friends were glad to rest under the big wide leaves of the palm tree. They looked around at all they lovely plants they offered shade and food for the animals As one of the friends captures a baby bird to take a closer look, Muhammad reminds everyone to take care and not harm anything in the wonderful natural world that Allah has created. Lends A Paw visits the village church and meets all the church helpers who are busy doing their different jobs around the church and the churchyard. Each has a different job to do to help make the church a very special place. The Reverend Freddie Fisher reads from the Bible and reminds everyone about how people should all help each other in any way that we can. As enjoys her adventure she encounters all the different aspects and features of the church. Explore places of worship in your locality and the work that people do because of their faith. Up to the local shops or down to the playing fields? Let s learn about our local community, looking at houses old and new and finding out how our streets have changed since our mums and dads were young. Perhaps your granny or grandpa went to your school or maybe they worked in the baker s shop. Wriggle and Crawl Minibeasts and their habitats. Grab your coat and pooter we re going out and about on a minibeast hunt! Sweep your nets in puddles and ponds and lift up logs to see who s home. On your belly, legs at the ready, it s time to wriggle and crawl!

Year 1 Projects Memory Box Can you remember being small; Being a baby and learning to crawl? Do you recall a favourite toy, maybe a teddy bear or a best loved book? Memories are special let s make some more! Remember a wedding or a Christening. A Wedding Day Wish for attends the wedding of Sally and Mike in Little Pond Village Church. Everyone has been getting the church ready to make it look very special for this important day. The best man, the bridesmaid, the father of the bride and of course the bride and groom all look wonderful in their wedding clothes. But for, no one look as handsome as her new special friend Arthur! and the Christening Splash! and her furry family attend the Christening service of Rosie and Ruby. and Arthur have struggled to think of a name for their little white kitten, but when she falls into the font which is filled with water, a name instantly springs to Freddie s mind! Year 2 Projects Holi Holi is also called 'The Festival of Colours', and people celebrate the festival by smearing each other with paint and throwing coloured powder and dye around in an atmosphere of fun and laughter. Muck, Mess and Mixtures Let s get messy! Muck and mess is good! In fact, it s megamarvellous! Dive in and get your hands and feet all sticky and covered in paint. Play with liquids, squish some dough and check out the slushiest and mushiest foods. Don t worry about the mess it will always wash!
