Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible. Dogs must be 6 months of age or older. Entry Fees: per dog per test if received prior to 12:00 PM, June 11th, 2010 : Introduction to Quarry------------------------------$10.00 (Gate entry-$15.00) Junior or Senior -------------------------------------$20.00 (Gate entry-$25.00) Closing Time for gate entries: 30 mins. prior to the earliest scheduled start time of the class. When a bitch comes into season after entry of the bitch has been submitted to the Test Secretary, a veterinarian s certificate, certifying that the bitch was in season within the 10 day period preceding the test, must reach the Test Secretary on or before the date of the Test. Attention Foreign Exhibitors: Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted. If you pay by personal American cheque, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Do not write Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. This is not acceptable and will not clear the bank. To simplify the process we urge you to buy bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian funds. Border Crossing: A valid rabies certificate is required to bring a dog into Canada. Government regulations require a certificate and it must be dated at least 30 days prior to entry into Canada and not more than 3 years. Registration Number (Foreign Born/Owned Dogs): For the purpose of entering CKC events to obtain CKC titles, individual registration is not required for foreign born/owned dogs. Foreign exhibitors may apply for an ERN (Event Registration Number). This number MUST be applied for within 30 days of entering first CKC event to avoid cancellation. Exhibitor may submit a photocopy of dogs foreign registration certificate and the appropriate fee ($53.50 Canadian funds) along with the completed application form. The form can be downloaded from: www.ckc.ca/forms for from the CKC order desk at 1-800-250-8040. Regulations are available from the Canadian Kennel Club at 416-675-5511 Awards and Prizes: A Ribbon (IQ) for each qualifying dog. A rosette (JE & SE) for each qualifying dog. Test Precincts: The precincts of the tests will be the grounds of 30 Salmon Hole Dam Road. Dogs waiting to be tested shall be kept at least 30.5m (100 feet) from the perimeter of the test area in a designated holding area. People with dogs watching shall be kept at least 30.5m (100 feet) from the perimeter of the test area also. Veterinary Services: Avon Animal Hospital- 45 Morison Dr., Windsor, NS The Atlantic Terrier Association will use care & diligence for the safety & welfare of the dogs, the exhibitors and the spectators, but will not be responsible in the event of any accident to dogs, exhibitors or spectators. Test Site: Bring water, shade and shelter for you and your dogs. These tests will be run rain or shine. All dogs must be under control, on a leash except during the test. Flexi leads will not be allowed on the property. Remember that this is private property and we are here at the pleasure of our host. Clean up after yourself and your dog. Canteen: Breakfast and lunch will be available each day. Raffle: A basket of goodies will be raffled on Saturday. Schedule for each day: Saturday Tests: IQ at 9:30; SE at 10:30; JE at 1:30 Sunday Tests: IQ at 9:30; SE at 10:00; JE at 11:00, but not before IQ is finished.
