Entry Information: NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Eligibility: ASCA agility trials are open to ALL breeds, including mixes. Your dog does NOT have to be registered with ASCA to enter ASCA agility trials. However, to earn titles, you must have a tracking number or an ASCA Australian Shepherd registration. A tracking number application is included in this premium. Day of Show Entries: Postmark of April 21,2012 is closing date. There will be NO day of show entries! Levels: Exhibitors may, at their discretion, enter at a level higher than they have titled. If they are registered to receive titles, higher level scores will be applied to unearned lower level titles. Move-Ups: Day-to-day move-ups will be accepted. Move-ups for Saturday must be received by Monday, April 23, 2012. S unday move-ups must be received by the end of the trial on Saturday. Equipment: Slatted A-frame & dogwalk and slatless teeter will be used. Jumps (including double), tunnels, weave poles (24-inch spacing) chute and tire may be used at the judge s discretion. The A-frame shall be set at 5' 6". Prizes and Awards: Qualifying and 1 through 4 place ribbons will be awarded in each class. Placements will be combined for 20+ and 24 dogs in all divisions. A Rosette and bar will be awarded to dogs finishing their ATCH. please let us know if you are close! This trial will be held according to ASCA Agility regulations. Exhibitors, through submission of their entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. The ASCA Agility Rulebook is available for viewing or download at: www.asca.org. ASCA, Jumpin' K-9's Inc. and Ross Valdez and Assoc. will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibitor or for the possessions of any exhibitor. Training in the Ring: ASCA's agility regulations permit exhibitors to "train in the ring" Exhibitors will be eliminated, but not excused. See ASCA agility rules for details. All dogs must be on leash or crated at all times except when using the Height Cards - Section 2.5.2 Required Measurements: warm up area or in the agility ring. Dogs entering the jump height classes 20" or less (wither height less than or equal to 20"), that do not have a permanent ASCA, AKC or NADAC height card must be Any ASCA members currently not in good standing with ASCA will not be measured. Dogs with a standard jump height of 20"+ need not be measured. allowed entry into the trial. In such a case, no re fund of fees will be paid. No refunds will be granted after the closing date. Refunds, less a $25 administration fee, will be granted for bitches in season and injured dogs, if the request is accompanied by a veteri narian s letter and provided to the trial secretary no later than noon on Sunday. FEO (For Exhibition Only) We will accept FEO entries. Dogs entering FEO must be a minimum of 15- months of age. FEO entries may jump at a lower height, but are not eligible for any prizes or awards. Any dog under 18-months must jump at a lower height. This is a non-qualifying division. Still have Questions? All JK9's investigations and appropriate forms will be forwarded on to the ASCA Business office. Home is on the left, long driveway, two large pillars, white fencing and lots of palm trees! From the South: 1-15 North. Exit Rancho California Road, turn right at signal heading East. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Trial Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. Reminder, this trial site is a residence. Please keep your dogs as quiet as possible and clean up everything that you bring. Be respectful of all the neighbors. Drive very slowly on property as parking area is shared with crating area. Note, arena is lighted so if the event goes later then planned, there are lights available. Driveway is narrow, however please stay to your right and there is plenty of room for two people to share. Food Services There are various restaurants and fast food vendors within a 15 minute driving distance. Lunch will be provided for workers. We will also have lunches available for a small donation for those not working. Everyone's eligible to receive vouchers for use at future JK9's events. All workers must check in with the show help coordinator at the show site to receive their work assignment and must have a qualifying assigned job in order to be eligible for vouchers. All workers receive a free lunch. $5 vouchers earned thereafter may be redeemed for all classes and JK9 trials and, are transferable and expire two years from the month of issue. In addition, beverages and snacks are available to all workers throughout the day. Please check the box on the entry form and indicate your preferences. Workers will work entire class Rd. 1 & 2 all jump heights! Hotels & RV information No overnight parking will be allowed at the trial site. No electrical hook-ups for motor homes or campers are available. No RV s due to space limitations. These hotels have graciously agreed to accept our wellmannered dogs. A pet deposit may be required. AGREEMENT The person who signs this agreement represents that he/she is authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of both exhibitor and the owner of entered dog. In consideration of acceptance of this entry: 1.1 As used here, ASCA means the Australian Shepherd Club of America, Inc., affiliate clubs and each of their members, officers, directors, employees, show committees and agents. 1.2 Exhibitor/owner agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of ASCA and any other rules and regulations appearing in the premium for this event. 1.3 Exhibitor/owner certifies that the entered dog is not a hazard to persons, dogs or property and that the entered dog s rabies vaccination is current in accordance with the requirement of the state in which the dog resides. 1.4 Exhibitor/owner acknowledges al l hazards presented by the event and the event premises, including, but no t limited to, the condition of the floors, stairways, halls, lighting, security measures or lack thereof, electrical appliances, fittings, show rings, parking areas and the presence of unfamiliar animals and people; exhi bitor and owner assume the risk of any harm arising from these. 1.5 Exhibitor/owner release ASCA (i ncluding ASCA offi cers, directors, members and event organizing committee), Jumpin' K-9's Inc,.
